When you were young what board games do you play?

When I was young I love playing board games with my friends and siblings. One of my favorite is the simple Snake and Ladder, Monopoly, Mad etc. these games don't require much use of your brain, just the skill of throwing the dice. I also like playing chess with my sister but I can't win. I always rush to finish the game and just move my chess piece without thinking. I wonder what are the latest board games and if there are still board games since most of the youngsters now use computer and other gadgets. I still nice to play games with the physical presence of friends and love ones.

yah! i still enjoy playing scrabble! they said scrabble helps you get away from Alzheimer's Disease!

Yeah scrabble I forgot to mention that LOL... maybe I should start playing scrabble again I'm starting to become forgetful. Need to sharpen my brain.

I think there is... there are games where in you form words, look for words etc. Like the Hangaroo, Hangman etc.

The game of LIFE. It was so fun..driving the little cars around with people in them,choosing your career card and stuff like that. I don't think we ever played it right though. We just did what we wanted..in our own little plastic world!

When I was growing up we played a lot of games as a family. Card games like pitch and rummy. We also did Sunday afternoon marathons of Monopoly or put puzzles together.
I think board, card and dice games are fun and bring families together.

When I am super bored I played board games. But nowadays I don't have the chance to play them anymore. Way back them I used to play them together with my siblings and my cousins. Monopoly and millionaire's game are among my favorites. I also enjoy the game of life! lol. When I went to the mall one time I saw a stall there where they sell different kinds of bored games. Some are pretty advanced and for a moment there I was amazed. It was so cool! I wanted to buy them all at once. haha! I'm good at chess too. But I don't think I'm still god now as I was before. Me and my dad used to play chess and I had beaten him several times after long long practices. haha :) It os pretty fun to play board games. Mostly when you just want to spend time and relax with your family and friends.
