Opinion on Mainstream Anime(Bleach/Naruto/One Piece) ?   

When it talks about anime, i only watch the show and get stacked-up in my television, what i wanna say is, it really catches my attention, even in my college days... XD

Bro, those animes are nice that's why they got the fame. They can attract majority of watchers and able to grasp ideas that people could be addicted of. Maybe it just happen that it doesn't gets into your taste but majority do.

Have you ever watched a couple of those? Maybe you should try it first? If you did, and still don't get into it, you may have some bitterness inside.

I don't hate these anime....Except for one piece its getting too many episodes...As for Naruto its only good up to Saskue and Naruto fight then you stop and wait for shippuden...Shippuden is all about story and plot and doesn't have many fillers with the exception of one arc but its still connected to the main story. As for bleach, they add too many fillers and such trying to make time and that really messes up the flow of the anime and so on.

People really do like these anime, the problem that they have with it is that these mainstream anime are just too many episodes and get boring after awhile but it picks up again, and repeats it all over again. I think Naruto did a great job picking itself up after Naruto with shippuden. Not much comedy as the last one and clearly focused on the plot at hand. Anyway these mainstream anime are pretty popular in Japan even more so than the US.

You are right though that there are a lot of anime that are better than those top three but they still aren't as popular and if they aren't as popular its less likely to air them and to make things worse you need a company like funimation to license it before you air and the biggest problem of all.....English dubbing sucks and the US tend to edit way too much. For example I swear they would most definitely edit Rosario because it may be too perverted and most likely To Love Ru too, and School Days just might make it with some small editing here and there. Anyway thats whats goin on. FMA and DBZ and Astro have been aired in the US with lots more just not as popular just look at the ones done by funimation and see all of the anime they have finished

This animes are the top because they are good but they are making this too long like one piece they never end but now i strated to read manga instead of watchig anime because there is no filler chapters in manga thats why i now read manga chapters of naruto , bleach and one piece

I don't like one piece's setting and story, I have only watched 5 episodes but I don't even want to bother with an anime with so many episodes, I could watch more than 10 other anime and have watched less episodes doing so, plus its still ongoing...

Bleach was one of my favourite anime but since the manga started to become so freakin' slow-paced the anime has been hit hard with continuous fillers, well this filler arc isn't so bad I guess but still, I think that this was unneeded, its not the anime's fault, its the manga's...that's why lots of people that are up-to-date with the manga are complaining about the lack of action and the lameness in general of the last 20 chapters (after the battle with ulquiorra).

I stopped Naruto at episode 120 and then went straight to shippuuden which I stopped at 48. I've asked my friend about what happens next because I was getting bored of it and since I know what will happen I'm not in any mood to continue. I think I spent enough time with Naruto...

As you said there are many other anime better than naruto and one piece. I like Bleach though...still its not my favourite but oh well...

I hear what your saying but everything is relative. Not everyone likes the shows you mentioned and TV channels get money from ads who get money from people buying their products.


It really isn't fair to judge someone because they like a do not like the same anime as you. Or to say that an anime you dislike is no good what are you judging by story line production qualitly ? Really it's all subjective

Well, I don't hate the mainstream anime shows but I'm not really a fan of them either. They are all okay shows but I personally think that there are other anime series out there that are way better. Besides these shows have too many episodes and they tend to drag after a while. But to each their on and whatever.

But the thing I can't stand are some of the fans fo these mainstream shows. Some of them are total fanatics and they are scary. I remember posting a comment about how I wasn't much of a Naruto fan in a forum and the next thing I knew I was being ganged up by all these Narutards telling me that I'm dumb and that I don't know anything. Now, I have nothing against people who express their opinions but to come out and attack me like that was totally uncalled for. I would have respected their opinions more if they gave me an intellectual reason on why the series was so great.

Lol. Mostly my anime fans friend is also like trolling. They love critic anime so i didnt care what that say because i watch more anime than them. For me mainstream anime is okay to enjoy because shonen anime tend to popular fast and because this three publish in shonen jump they gain more popularity. I didnt have any problem with this three anime except Naruto getting more boring.
