What is desparate about it? If she were doing surgury on you, you would reserve the right to make her prove she is legally authorized to perform surgery, right? She has every right to insist Obama prove he has Constitutional authority to issue orders to her.

People that talk smack don't deserve the time of day in my opinion.
This is a very serious matter our military people do not take a oath to uphold any person they take a oath to uphold the United States Constitution and this is just what the captain is doing and rightfuly so.
This Obama eligibility case is in Georgia before Judge Land.
Major Cook's case against Obama's eligibility as chief in commander was before this same judge,the military dropped Major Cook's deployment orders to Afghanistan before the hearing even started.
So that ended the hearing that never even got started so Obama did not have to product his citizenship documentation like his Hawaii birth certificate which he mostly dose not even process.
See what happens tomorrow in Judge Land's court room I will report soon as I hear the out come of tomorrows Obama's citizenship hearing.

We aren't talking about whether Obama has any moral character or not. Or if moral character has anything to do with being president (although that is a good topic for another time). We are talking about if Obama (or in the case of our surgeon analogy) possess the minimum requirements to legally do a job.

There are only 2 minimum requirements to be eligible to be president of the US. 1: Be at least 35 years old. 2: Be a natural born citizen.

If Obama is not a natural born citizen, then he has as much authority and right to play Commander in Chief as you or I do. In other words... NONE.

To say it doesn't matter is literally to say that nothing about the US Constitution or the US itself matter.

My case still stands - a constiutional technicality or a brilliant man for the job. You choose?

Most people using common sense here, would let it be. Moreover, they, if commonsense called for it, would lobby for a change in the constitution if indeed this is how it is interpretated.

As far as I know, a qualified surgeon is allowed to operate anywhere in the world, as long as the country in question is satisfied with the visa permits and his qualifications.

Barack Obama, elected commander and chief of the world's most powerful nation. Yet he is half black, half white, mother a US citizen, father an African citizen. Raised in the USA and taught US values, to which he educated himself and went into US politics. Qualified, he sure is. Doing his job, he sure is. Doing his job well, you judge!

And if we talk about technicalities, George W Bush should have never have taken office as Al Gore was the 'real' winner, and if this was the outcome, we may have seen a very different US foreign and domestic policy which Bush left behind.
