Milk increases the chance to have cancer. Is it true?

hi nrtan2000 do not believe everything you hear from other
people and specially on the net, I do not believe that'milk increases your chances of getting cancer at all. too much of anything is not
good for anyone but milk is a whole food and is useful for out'healthe. no its not going to cause cancer.

There has been some scare talk about this recently. Here is the answer from CancerResearchUK, a very well respected body. I think that you can take what they say as the real answer.

As you will see, the answer isn't a simple 'yes' or 'no'. It's all about a balanced diet. Milk should be part of that diet because it's a good source of calcium but the WRONG BALANCE of diet is what one needs to be careful of.

In fact, there are many other things both in our diet and in our environment which may contribute to cancer much more. You can't simply say 'no this' or 'no that' and believe that you will not get cancer. One of the most significant things, after all, is whether you are predisposed to cancer or not. We are only just beginning to learn about the genetic links - why some people get cancer and why others don't!

that's scary one!
i love fresh milk and i drink it every morning i wake up before i'll have my cup of coffee..
if they would say it can cause cancer then what are we going to do? drinking milk gives us a lot of benefits but if we would be affected by the media and internet then what alternative they would give us..none!
so i think, we should just stick on a balanced diet. there maybe a side effect of too much drinking milk like for people who has lactose intolerance but for sure i will not give up my fresh milk.
ohh! or maybe one reason is how fresh milk were put into carton boxes and the added preservatives so if there's a chance i'd like to buy fresh milk on the dairy farm near my place.

I dint knew anything about this fact...Infact now you have scared me by making this discussion..if its true i need to stop drinking milk from tomm..

what do you mean by fresh milk? are talking about the kind that come straight from the cow or out the vat. or is is it milk from the cartoon? i get milk straight from the vat, only drink it in my coffee. but we use it all the time and with milk prices they way they are, i'd rather pay my boss a dollar a litre than the supermarkets.
but i've not heard the one about cancer.

thanks for the news that you have shared, i really don't have any idea of bad side effect of milk because i think of it as a good drink for our body. it contains high calcium which is needed for the growth of our bones. milk must be drinked from birth to death.

no friend this is totally wrong milk increases ur immuntiy and make ur stronger.
milk is harmful.
