Dogs or Cats which do you prefer?

Most definitely dogs.

Mind you, I love cats, but I can't stand litter boxes. I wouldn't want a cat outside either. There's too many diseases they can catch.

My dog goes out and does his business, comes back inside, plays some, then sleeps. And nothing beats the "Thank God Mommy's home" look with the kisses and hugs, even if I've only been gone an hour.

I believe they're a cheaper animal to care for as well. I've had quite a few of both in my life.

I almost forgot to add what great protectors they can be!
