Do you think Beyonce is the real winner?  

Kanye was definitely out of place in doing what he did. I mean, who really cares about Kanye's opinions? He's got a lot of them, that's for sure..But guess what? We ALL do! And it doesn't mean we need to dispute an award ceremony's choice of winners by interrupting the winner during their thank you speech. He's so annoying. I wish MTV would fine him or would have kicked him off stage or something. It's unfair that if it were anyone else, even a Beyonce fan or something, security would have been ON them ten seconds after they appeared on stage. In my opinion..i think the same should have happened to him. And I love Kanye's music, so there isn't any bias here. I just think his personality needs some work.

As far as the "best video" award.. I'm not really much of a Beyonce OR Taylor Swift fan - but I actually MUCH prefer the Taylor Swift video over the Beyonce one. I don't like "Single Ladies" - I thought it was a stupid, overplayed song, and there really wasn't too much thought put into the video, if you ask me. I don't consider dancing around in a weird and unflattering leotard/bathing suit as being original! All she does is dance, and while her dancing is impressive, I just don't think it's a very good music video. There wasn't really a storyline and the video didn't really connect with the song very much, in my opinion. After the whole VMA/Kanye outburst thing happened, I wanted to see if what Kanye said at least had credibility..So I watched the Taylor Swift video for "You Belong With Me" - and I actually REALLY liked it! It was super cute, it told a story (that connected with the song), and is super cute and makes me smile (and again - I'm not a fan of hers and I don't particularly like the song either). I definitely think when given the choice, Taylor's is way better than Beyonce's. That's just my opinion, though.

I feel so sorry for Taylor Swift to be treated by Kanye West... Taylor is very talented and she deserved that award... i just hope Kanye would control his sudden outbursts in public... because this last one was like hitting below the belt... good thing that Taylor is already 19 or else he could still be slapped with child abuse charges...

As for Beyonce... she is so classy... i like the way she handled the situation but giving the stage to Taylor just so she could finish her speech... Beyonce ins one Diva that all others should emulate...

As for Kanye... i say Boycott everything that is Kanye...

I definitely think Beyonce is the real winner in all this. Taylor too, she is only 17 and took the thing in her stride. Although Kanye has apologized, this will be the talk of entertainment news for quite some time, I'm sure. I don't think there has ever been a barging of an award acceptance speech ever.

no i don't think beyonce is the real winner fans pick for that award and they didn't pick her. She didn't even want that award on the red carpit she said what she wanted to win, it was the award she won. beyonce vid was good but it wasn't the best. kanye west is a dum stuped moron pig he should not have done that,was messed up. she looked so sad when he did that.

If I were Beyonce I would be embarrassed, even though she has no control over the situation. She is certainly a big enough star she doesn't need that kind of support.
I think the whole thing was shameful.
