Which is safe Skype or a mobile phone?

one provides service through telecom network and other provides it through internet.

mobile is -

1. more reliable in terms of security (if not connected to internet)
2. more handy

internet services are -

1. cheaper

This is a no argument at all, phone wins in anyways. While I prefer to use my pc to call my relatives for free. Skype is much clearer than other IM i currently using right now while mobile is still existed in our house because of out of the country calls. I i believe phone calls for abroad will become obselete for the new 10 years to come.

When you are using Skype or Google Talk, there will be a slight lag time. Although this is quite slight, it is quite irritating for those who are very comforbatlbe with talking smoothly via the phone. I guess Skype and Google Talk are more applicable for people who wants to talk to their family or friends who are currently overseas. That is because in the long run, it is more worth it. Overseas call can be alittle troublesome and costly, and Skype/Google Talk solve that problem.

I'll use Skype, I hate mobile phones, they are so intrusive.

Currently I'm more accustomed to using cellphone though skype is becoming better and better. I could dial my friends whenever I want by my cellphone. If I want to do the same thing by skype, I have to turn on my computer first and then connect to Internet, which is quite inconvenient. But in regard to international calls, I'd prefer skype for it costs much less than cellphone, which attracts me a lot.
