Have you ever prank phone called someone for fun?

Yes I use to do that, call other people house, and then hang up the phone, but noe you can't do that because, mostly everyone had called ID, on their telephone and your name and phone number will come up, on their phone, and they will know who you are.

Oh yeah, my friends and I used to make prank calls back in the day, before caller ID. I also had fun at the expense of little kids when I was a telephone operator in my early 20s. They used to prank call us and hang up...but we had a Ring Back button...we were the telephone company after all and you can't hide from us. I always loved how timid and innocent the little monsters sounded when they answered the phone that rang the second they hung up.

I never did it, but it was done to me and each time I recognized the caller. once I had a death threat and I also recognized the voice, although it was the first time this person spoke to me on a phone. I challenged him the next day where he was working and I never saw him again after that, not even on his job.

we cant do that here anymore because we have call display or at least most people i know have it. i find call display great because if i dont recognize the phone number, i dont usually answer it! (it sure cuts down on sales calls!)

in my uncle's house with my cousin playing
and calling people for nothing we were kids
like 8 or 9 years,and ya at that time it was funny
we were laughing and falling in the floor!!

Yep. I have done this before also. I did it for fun but I mainly did it to get back at someone for the way that they treated my family. It was all in good fun but I hope she learned something from it.

Guilty! It was fun at that time so I tend to do that a lot. I will look at a phone number in phone book and called. When they pick up, I won't say anything and hang up before I had a good laugh with my partner in crime, my sister. Obviously my parents find out when the bill skyrocket and weird numbers appeared. Don't ask what happen to us after that.

Anyway, I don't think pulling pranks like that can be done these days. We have caller id on the phone.
