Do you travel by air?

I really love travelling, and yes I do travel regularly as my family lives in many parts of the country. Actually, my favorite transportation is train. It is fast, and you can still view the scenery around you. But unfortunately, not all destination can be reach by train, not to mention the far ones which you may not have enough time to be too long in the journey.

I travel a lot by plane. I like it enough because it saves time. For me, time is money, so wasting time is wasting your money, and I don't want that LOL. I have to admit that being in plane is very boring, all I can see is the cloud, I can't call my relatives/friends, I can't access internet all I can do is sleeping of reading the book. But it's worth it as it saves my time which I'd rather spend it with my loved ones, rather than being in a journey.

its been a long time since i went and travelled by air. i have been in places mostly near so there is no need for an airplane transportation. we have here taxis and public utility vehicles which we call jeeps. i have not been on a train yet. long travels are best served by the bus.

it depends if theres a promo. coz sometimes traveling by air is quite cheaper than bus or ship due to promo. we always check for promo so we can book the flight in advance.

I like to travel by air as I don't have many vacations. I don't want to spend longer time on the way. Taking the plane is the soonest way to arrive at the destination. Besides, it is easier to buy the airplane tickets via the net and sometimes there will be discounts.

Hi arun2009, I dont like traveling by air.:( Well, for one - I've always loved watching the trees and land move towards me and away from me during train travel.:) I have loved buying magazines and novels at the railway stations. And some eatables and cool drinks as well. Oh! I know they are expensive. Including the fruits. But when we were young we were going in a big group, singing, playing cards, eating, and all that. So I enjoyed it all. Somehow, train journey conjures up the images of those happy moments. That is the reason I like it. And they dont offer the usual filmfare, Stardust, Femina, and Eve's weekly on plane, do they? Immediately u r supposed to graduate to more sophisticated versions whether or not u r interested in them. As if it is below the folks who are travel by air. LOL. Well, I owe much of my command over English language to people like Devyani Chaubal, so I am hardly going to read thru economic times or financial express trying to understand - what am I to find interesting in this? While at it, let me tell u, Devyani Chaubal did write a lot of gossip, and as adult, I dont really approve of it now. But never the less, I did enjoy it when I was younger.:)

I adore traveling and know it is one of my top hobbies. I like to travel by train most of all because I enjoy looking out of the window in the day time. During the night time I like to sleep in a comfortable compartment.

I think in economy class on a plane there isn't much leg room. The plane is quick but for short trips it isn't worth considering because on time spent at the airport. Many airlines are struggling in the current economy so that might bwe why some are reducing their fares.
