1. med889 (2805) | 3 months ago | I will rather not visit Palestine as they are still in war there with Israel, and I do not like to go in places where there are wars, it feels so bad to see people dying, hurting others, and children suffering.

3. maximax8 (10520) | 3 months ago | I wouldn't want to visit Iraq because it could be dangerous there and there wouldn't be many sights to see there. I certainly wouldn't go to Afghanistan either because it is currently very dangerous there.
I have visited Israel and trouble can occur there from time to time. I have been to Croatia after the war had ended there. Situations can change and might make places that are dangerous at the moment safe to visit in many years time.

5. stvasile (5361) | 3 months ago | There are many areas affected by war or other sensible political issues that I wouldn't travel to because: Israel, Palestine, Iraq, Iran, North Korea, Honduras, Colombia, Zimbabwe... Also, I don't think I'll be going to some of the African countries very soon, because of the tropical diseases still killing people that are not indigenous and don't have the natural immunity. There are also countries I've never considered visiting because I don't think there's something interesting to see there, like Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Eastern Timor....

6. Simon1223 (275) | 3 months ago | Sorry for my poor understanding. I don't know whether you mean objectively or subjectively. Subjectively speaking, I want to visit every place of the world. In my view, every country, whether big or small, has its characteristics. As a curious person, I'm interested in understanding them. But objectively speaking, it seems impossible for me to achieve my wish. The reasons are various. I'm not rich enough to afford a worldwide travel. And just as you guys said, I don't want to run risk travelling in a dangerous country. Wish these countries could be safer!

7. cripfemme (5670) | 3 months ago | For me, it's a toss-up. I know some places are dangerous, but I would still like to visit them. My top three no-go places are probably Iraq (because I would rather not be shot), Saudi Arabia and Jordan. The last two because there are virtually no rights for women. I am a staunch feminist and I know it would just be my luck that some random Arab man would say something and I would have to tell him off in the middle of the street. I would land myself in jail and ruin the vacation. And I know the U.S. state department would not come to my rescue.
