My Mom, My Cat, My Mom, My Cat....... I'm So Scared!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  |

 My dad just called me and said that on his way back from his doctors appointment which was 2 hours away, mom had called him and said that she couldn't remember his cell phone number and had to look it up! Then she talked to Julie the realtor for the house they've been trying to sell and haven't been able to just yet, mom had to give Julie her home phone number but for some reason but mom couldn't remember it! It sounds like she had a mini stroke. When I had talked to her yesterday, she said she had a horrible headache the day before and I told her that it sounded like a migraine. I knew better of course but didn't want to tell her what I was thinking for it would make her scared and worry even more so for dad to call me and tell me this about her not able to remember two very important phone numbers does sound like she had a mini stroke. I'm soooooooo scared!!!!
Now to update you on Lil Tux, we went out there yesterday and we didn't even see him, not one time. It was raining (of course!) so he's holed himself up somewhere in the many buildings that are on the property. Only one of the buildings is occupied but all the others aren't and are in pretty bad shape so he could be anywhere. We have left 4 traps with food in them in hopes to get him that way and the lady is going to check them 4 or 5 times daily in hopes of catching him. I went to the emergency room last night for my arm is swollen and is red all around the bite area and was put on some very strong antibiotics and was told that if it didn't get any better to come back for I'd need to see a surgeon. I'm not happy to hear that and am praying that it does get better instead of worse. When we left the area where Lil Tux is at, we talked to the woman who got him from the clinic, she cried and cried. She feels so bad for what happened so I'm not upset with her anymore and have forgiven her in my heart because it was an unfortunate accident. She didn't do it out of malice. She has a heart and loves animals so much so for those reasons, I won't chew her out if I do or don't get Lil Tux back.
So far we can't find a lawyer to take our case but we're trying still. After this, we're going up to see my mom in hopes to spend some quality time with her.
I'm so scared of losing my mom and my mind is on both my mom and my cat.....

You are right, she is offering to be helpful and check the traps, and that will save you a lot. I hope she is bright enough to deal well with Lil Tux when she does get him. Hopefully the "bad things happen in threes" thing is true because between the cat, your mom and your arm, you've got your three things out of the way and now maybe things will start to turn around for you.
