Do you ever watch an older move and think..... |
|
Gee that person is dead? And that how many of them that you watched when you were a kid or a teen have passed on?
I didn't until met my mother-in-law who likes to watch old black & white movies from when she was young. It was too funny, she would point out who died and of what if she knew it ect. I thought that was such a bizarre comment to make.
But then my kids got the Muppet Movie and you know the like majority of the celebs that had spots in the movie are dead? EEEEEK! How creepy s that? I'm not that old, but guess time stands still for no one.

3. dragon54u (9798) | 4 months ago | Most of the movies I now watch have actors that have died long ago! Like you MIL, I love the old movies and last night I started watching "Uncle Tom's Cabin" from 1927, a silent movie. I would like to see the earlier versions that were made but they haven't come on the channel yet. I love silent movies and prefer watching movies from before 1950.

lets put it this way, because I've never married and had kids, in some ways I still think like a younger person - and don't always feel my 55 years, until I realize that my heroes are now in their 70's!!!

5. sweetashoney (766) | 4 months ago | I try not to think about it while I'm watching the movie. I also love to watch some of the old movies, even though John Wayne is dead I still like to watch some of his moves, or even Don Knotts

6. prinzcy (2169) | 4 months ago | Death is natural to all living things. That includes the actors too. I love some old movies, they have a very good plot. It doesn't occur to me to think those actors are dead while watching them. I know they're dead but I just watch the movie without thinking about it. Besides, it's like the saying, a man will leave a name behind. It's the same for the actors. When they're gone, they leave the name and fame as a legacy to be remember by us.
