SELF or OTHERS? who goes first? | | there is a popular saying that states "love your neighbor as yourself"... how would you relate your personal opinion to that.. does it also imply to you that you have to be "SELFLESS" and prioritize other people first? or is it that you should learn to love yourself first, inorder for you to be capable to love others as "yourself"?
SELFISHNESS or SELFLESSNESS... we should know both..

Therefore, Jesus told us to love our neighbor as we love ourself. Our natural behavior is to look first upon us and take care of our needs before others. But those who take care of others first have that different heart to prioritize others before themselves. I admire and respect such people who will sacrifice their own happiness for others to be happy. How I wish I could do that easily.
