Okay...I'll go with blueberry pancakes tasting like muffins...I can see that...but blueberry pie and blueberry cheesecake don't taste ANYTHING like blueberry muffins.

Ummmm, add a little vanilla and sugar to the pancake batter, a little bran to the muffin, and more cream cheese in the cheesecake............ then don't use so many freakin blueberriesin any of them! A little bit goes a long way with those lil suckers!

hi irish you and me both the airconditioner in my room was blowing cold air and my covers werent enough so bleary eyed i went downstairs and got another blanket in the wee hours of the morn. I am glad I am not the only one who thought that adding blueberries makes things taste like blueberry muffins. I think that with cheesecake of pancakes its some sort of offpastry taste that comes out just like blue berry muffins, while if you have a piece of blueberry pie it does taste like real blueberries without that muffinish added flavor. i am still sleepyl

Are you sure it's just sleep you need Irish??? I have no idea why the heck this is the case with blueberries, but once again, I'm pretty sure that global warming would have something to do with it. While we're on the question path here, do you know why EVERY meat outside of the standard ones we eat taste like chicken? What would they taste like if there was no such thing as chicken?

Oh thanks! You just reminded me I have some blueberries in the kitchen. Yeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh (I get excited easily, I don't get out much).

As for your question no idea, except that whenever I use Sage in anything it always tastes like I ought to be eating chicken. I put some in lentil burgers tonight and Sage is such a stong taste I'll have to use a bit less next time.

Of all the exports from American, the blueberries are my favourite. We grow them here in the UK now and when I can get my hands on a muffin I like to savour the moment as long as possible.

Hmm, I suggest switching the ones in the pancakes to cholcolate chips and get done with it! LOL Double bounus on that one.

HUH? What in the world? I have no idea. I've eaten blueberry muffins, and blueberry waffles and blueberry pancakes, all three I'm sure... though not in so long, I couldn't tell ya why they all taste the same.
