BULLY.......how to solve it?

How do you stop bullying? Hmm.That's a GREAT question! I wish I could answer it. I was always told by my parents and teachers to ignore it if it happened to me. That bullies only crave attention. But I'm not so sure this is true. Thankfully, I have never really been "bullied" (although I've experienced people doing other mean things about me - like starting rumors & gossiping falsely about me..But that's another story).

My opinion on the matter is that your friend should stand up for himself, and always "travel in packs". This sounds a little drastic, but I don't know how bad the bullying is. It seems like bullies always want to pick on the quiet, more reserved, and maybe less-popular students... But these kids should really just stand up for themselves in any way that they can - to show the bullies that they can't be messed with. Also - it's smart to always walk home from school with a lot of people (friends) - to avoid getting attacked or whatever by the bully & his friends. A lot of my friends got jumped in middle school on their way home because they were walking alone.

At any rate, I really think you should advise your friend to stand up for himself. I know it's a hard thing to do, and takes courage, but in my opinion and from my small amount of experience - bullies don't like to target people who fight back. They generally like people who will lay down and take it.

When i was at school, from grade 1 to high chool, my classmates used to bullied me. But i do ignored them, but the more you ignore them, the more he bullied you. So one day, i stand out and fight back. Even in the middle of the class, they they tongues out on me, i throw my notebook or books to them lolz, i just lucky my teacher is always on my side, and they got punished lol.
What im trying to say is, when ignoring them is not working, be brave and figth back.

Wow, what a brave, bringing katana to kill them all.=) I know you can do it, everybody is able. Well, if I were you, I would try my best not to hear those who bully me, because I'm not sure if they are better than me.=) You know, it's like who beneath who. I will never get some teachers involved, because however, I have enough 2 hands and 2 feet to kick them oue, but again I will get some problem if I do that.=)
