I agree the Judge made the right and LAWFUL decision.

I think as the movement progresses, more states will have to acknowledge the (marital) CONTRACTS, which is what the courts were set up to do, settle contractual disputes.

Back in 1977, Lee Marvin and his girlfriend decided they couldn't live with each other anymore. Most in this situation just decide amongst themselves who gets what and go their merry, separate ways. She brought him to court for some kind of monetary settlement based on his promise to support her for the rest of her life.

The judge decided that since there was no written contract, she wasn't entitled to anything, but the court of public opinion came to a much different conclusion. The term "palimony" was coined, not as a legal term, but more of a word to be used in news articles, pop culture and legal discussions.

Since then, states have come up with laws, and courts have set precendences conserning the disposition of assets from a live in relationship.

Personally, I think that since the couple decided the government had no place in their relationship, I think it's kind of hypocritical for them to include the government in ending it. ;~D

Both women were originally from Pennsylvania.

Probably? haha I'm not sure. Back in the day everyone use to fly to Mexico for everything. I remember when that crazy basketball player said he went to Mexico to get cured for AIDS.
