Insomniatic ramblings and other dribble that can only be posted in one interest |
|
SO it's 1 am and I am wide awake, not feeling at all tired. I'm really loving the apple crips my daughter made, having a HUGE bowl of it (with ice cream on top). I'm wondering whether or not I may be expecting my 4th grand child son (will update on this later). Not looking forward to winter this year, gets harder to take every year, think I'm gonna retire to Jamaca, or Brasil, or maybe Texas, ANYWHERE where I will never see a single snow flake again. I have to admit though, that little roach waiting upstaris for me waiting upstairs for me is sounding more inviting every second (maybe I'll be able to sleep after all). It's good to not be posting in politics tonight (getting burnt out I think), so Judith, bless you blue cotton balled arse for making this section!

jb78000 (1707) | 3 months ago | morning spot - you got enough gallons of coffee in you to be able to communicate yet?

jb78000 (1707) | 3 months ago | enjoy it while it lasts. you've been lucky enough to have not encountered the xfahctor too many times - well he can't half drivel on when he gets going. apparently it is also his turn to be the hamlet drunk which i don't imagine is making what he says any more sensible.

xfahctor (5253) | 3 months ago | Lol, actually Thea, the "roach" comment refers to the stub of a rolled up smoke of a "certain substance"".....
As to the lizard, is this a common occurence there? Lizards invading one's home??? And speaking of cold....I ws under the impression Greece didn't really get cold enough to snow....am I wrong?

|

xfahctor (5253) | 3 months ago | and JB, I do NOT drivel on........ok ok ok so I do...but EVERYONE should be so fortunate as to encounter me MANY MANY times.....;)

thea09 (4348) | 3 months ago | Well is snowed here five years ago for the first time in 35 years but in the northern parts it's blocked snow filled roads every winter. Does get cold though but that nasty damp sort of cold. Now lets see, yesterday was the first indoor lizard ever spotted, they usually stay outside on the terrace and I don't mind them. What I do mind is the constant invasion of geckos which creep me out, they are see through with bulging eyes and change colour when they hurry, sometimes an alarming shade of bright red. They are also cunning enough to blend into the wood work. It's supposed to be lucky to have them as they eat mosquitos but my spiders do an excellent job of that, which adds yet another worry with the gekos, are they going to eat my two pet spiders.

thea09 (4348) | 3 months ago | jb look at these ranking things, why are we in level three when everyone else is in leve one. We have the top spots but level one is higher isn't it?

jb78000 (1707) | 3 months ago | prowlers are doing a job on us. can guess who yours is and i would bet that mine are coming from politics central aka the daily star. now would you like to add my new section 'paranoid frenzy' to your interests?
| |
|
|
thea09 (4348) | 3 months ago | I didn't know I had a prowler, my 3 self professed stalkers are all away from mylot at the moment and their loss is deeply felt but they'll ALL been in this section when they return. Please pm name of prowler as I'm clueless, unless you mean prat, he's stopped doing it now than goodness.

xfahctor (5253) | 3 months ago | lol, this was truly the only interest section I could find to post this kind of rambling in.....and again...thanks for creating it.

|
|
fruitcakeliz (846) | 3 months ago | It could have gone in the "Im not interested" interest.....i like that one, or at least the concept of that one...

jb78000 (1707) | 3 months ago | what are you not interested in that you could start uninteresting discussions about liz?

thea09 (4348) | 3 months ago | We should have been clear that all ramblings are meant to be satirical in content.

3. AngryKittyMSV (1864) | 3 months ago | I wonder if you'll be hungry again after that roach? MMmmmmmm.... apple crisps sound yummy! I hope you found some sleep.
Come to my crappy state, we never get enough snow, and we NEED snow because plowing is how hubs makes extra money in the winter. Snowfall has gotten less and less every year. You'd hate it here though, NY State sucks, everything is too expensive because the nanny staters tax the heck out of everything. I'm forever trying to get hubs to move to NH, I always liked it there and it's much cheaper to live.
How much is a pack of smokes by you? We pay over $8.00 a pack, sometimes NINE dollars and in the city it's closer to ten or 11 bucks a pack. Gas is about $3.50 a gallon now and going up. What is it there?

thea09 (4348) | 3 months ago | Morning Kitty, it's horrid to post to an empty space so as jb points out as spot 1 I thought we'd have a nice chat but I may need help with a bit of translation from your end. Now you can do the maths on this one simply because I'm not in the mood but $10 dollars for you is about 6.50 euros for us and I pay 3.40 for a pack of 30 so we work out cheaper there. Must say in 6 years the price has only gone up 60 cents a pack. Gas (petrol) depends on the petrol station, it's 20 cents a litre cheaper in town but I forgot to fill up the other morning, damnation, so looks like I'll be paying about 1.20 per litre later on, but I'll just put 10 euros in till I get up to town. I presume NH is new Hampshire but have no idea what a hub is which you need to get you there, is it a removal truck? And don't mention prices, apart from the fixed price cigs everything else is diablolically expensive.

AngryKittyMSV (1864) | 3 months ago | NH is New Hampshire, and Hub, Hubs, or Hubby, refers to my husband.

xfahctor (5253) | 3 months ago | Kitty....
Fell asleep before the Munchies hit me...worked like a charm. It isn't so much the snow, it's the 20 - 30 below temperatures that kill me. I pay a little over 5 bucks for Marlboros, gas is a little ovr 2.60 for a gallon.

4. fruitcakeliz (846) | 3 months ago | wow..for once the tables were reversed and you were up later than i...how strange, granted i had to be to work only a few short hours after you posted this, so it is no wonder LoL.....you had better tell her that i want apple crisp when i come up/over and vist you guys next time*pouts* i always miss out on the good stuff.
As to your possible new grandbaby....well, i don't know how you are hoping this situation turns out, as i know both situations have their ups an downs, but i guess we will hopefully be finding out soon if it is true or not! (and even if it is, i am still firmly against ever being called "grammy" or any term related to it LoL...i MIGHT be able to tolerate auntie...but that might just confuse the poor children, we'll see what the future holds)
So...you are planning on moving even farther away from me*sniffles* i see how you are...if you wanna break up with me just say so*false melodrama* you don't have to make up some far fetched story about being sick of the cold weather and snow that you have been dealing with your whole life
anywho..just thought i'd banter with you a little here, since you gave up bantering with me about risky topics on the phone in lieu of getting some actual sleep tonight, which i hope you are doing, as the lack of sleep (or maybe the sugar high from the apple crips and ice cream) made your typing even worse than normal*wink*

xfahctor (5253) | 3 months ago | well, first dearest, I would be taking you with me to said warmer locations, I assumed that was assumed. Don't worry, you'll simply become "nanna" not "grammy" I honestly don't know how i feel about it yet, I think they should be concentrating on getting themselves established but, well, if it is the case...there it is. Yes, I realize my typing was worse than usual, as if it wasn't bad enough....lol... *MUAH! p.s. plenty of apples....so plenty of crisp, just gotta convince the kid to make some more.
| |
|
|
fruitcakeliz (846) | 3 months ago | Well, you know how i am when assuming things, so i didn't want to do that LoL. And if that is the case, you need to start doing some research and find a plce that has a company i can transfer to..as i am quite attatched to my job, sorry LoL. that probably eliminates anything out of the country (unless you want to move to Belgium, as that is where the parent company is based out of...but i don't think it is any warmer there, i dn't know LoL. We do have brother and sister companies in florida and a few othersouthern states!
errm...nana? that is almost as bad m'dear....how about they just call me by my name LoL....
About the apple crisp, it is all good..i'll bet i can convinc her to make it again, especially if i help!

5. Sourceseeker (306) | 2 months ago | Yes its true X that real life intrudes upon our fcsimile suedo world of pundits and opinions. I always say real life is 1000 percent better than the make believe of TV or the semi make believe of the Internet. But lately, I cant find things in real life that interest me. People like us, intellectual thinkers, are usullay considered aloof and by some a little strange because we dont get caught in the latest sales pitch. Its a lonely world but its important for our sanity to stay vigilant. Stay vigilant and keep giving your opinion because at some point thats all we have that is ours.
