For Those Who Think MyLot Shouldn't Be A Place To Rant, Here Are My Thoughts....

Yes if people don't want to read "rants" they should move on.

Yes I think that's one of the great things about ranting here and sharing our feelings as many of us may have been in the same situation and can give great advice and make a person feel not alone--what a great thing, right?
I just came back from the docs myself since I'm having a bout of bronchitis

I have found more wonderful advice from my friends here when I share my rants and concerns...sometimes I'll post a rant and share my feelings FIRST before even calling up friends in my "real" world.

I always read the responses afterwards as well. If myLot really expected people to read the responses first, then when you're notified of a new discussion (in your email), if you choose to respond - you'd be brought to the whole discussion to see all the previous responses, not just to a reply box. The way my6Lot is set up, you can't see the other responses until AFTER you post your own.

Yes people don't HAVE to read rants it's not like any of us are forcing them. Yup, mylot does pay us for any of our discussions rants and all

Yes I don't know why it should bother others if one decides to do a ranty discussion here, if they don't like it they can always move on to a discussion more suitable to them. Sometimes we really DO need to rant and share our feelings, and what better place than here?

I loved that show, the appropriate comeback to the "up your nose with a rubber hose" quip is "In your ear with a can of beer!"

Nope I haven't been missing...I'm always here everyday/night a bit...LOL. I do remember that show and was one of my favorites. That's where John Travolta got his start as Vinnie Barbarino--used to like Horsack too...

How true that in many ways MyLot is like a diary...since I've been here three years and backtrack at my old discussions it makes me aware of where I was and what I was thinking at the time and in many ways, how I've changed

earning is a secondary matter here as they don't compensate enough even to pay for my internet connection. I just love to mylot as it keep my sanity intact.
