You smoke when eating? Wow, I havent done that for years. They got all politically correct here and banned smoking almost everywhere. I think when it was banned in public places it spread to the home as well and I cant remember the last time I had a ciggie with a meal. Ah those were the days,
I understand that in many places food is cut up prior to it being eaten. I wont cut my husbands food up for him though, but I really dont mind cleaning up the milk he spills, lol

Greek taverna meals take hours as most of them don't care if the food is hot or not, so light up after every few bites. No one ever clears the table as no one ever knows when the food is finished with. I won't say more as I feel a discussion coming.

You have bunnies, well I have the most scintillating discussion up about them now but the blue rabbit is meant to be on hand if anyone starts getting cute about them and she's gone awol, so if you're intending to join in please at least have the decency to pretend you'd rather eat them than play with them.

I could have taken the lighthearted view and told you about a funny story regarding one of the bunnies

As I said, we found two,
Well one grew into a jet black one, and I asked my son what he wanted to call it
And he said Sooty, so Sooty it was. The Brown one he named Sweep, Sooty and Sweep, kids tv show

He was thrilled to bits, even though he was quite ill and dependant on home oxygen by this stage, his baby bunnies were his pride and joy

Anyway, one of the nurses from the hospital came out to see him and he couldnt wait to show off his bunnies!!!
When he told her the black one was called Sooty her jaw dropped, it really did and she ushered me out of the room and gave me a lecture about teaching and condoning racist behaviour, and how she would report it

Well our boy was ill, not dumb and he heard every word,

He took pleasure in telling her just how far her head up her bum was and picked up two toys and a book, Sooty and Sweep. He explained he wasnt racist and even tolerated English people like her!!! God he was good that day.

When he died and she offered her condolences, there was a wee grin on my face as I told her she best not come to the funeral service,

I know questions were asked due to her absence as she was his main care nurse and had been for a while
After a year, we got a letter of apology
