Hi! I work in such a office, where people wear formals. I do not feel like wearing jeans at work place, in fact very few try to wear jeans etc. Normally, men here prefers shirt and trousers and women prefer wearing suits and Sarees.

I can understand Anjali that you love to wear casuals, however, I think to maintain office decorum one needs to wear formals. I think in Delhi and NCR, in most of the private offices/Banks etc., people are allowed to wear casuals on Saturdays. My brother also works in a foreign bank and he wears casuals on Saturdays.

Hello anjali
well i would definetly go for formals, but for that also you need to be in a good shape, because i think i cannot wear anything even if it does not look good on me.Infact i just love formal wear as i am a management student and being into business profession we need to wear a perfect dress code for work.
I dont like to go messy like casual wear, messy hair.If you are a proffessional your hair should be thightly platted and clothes comfortable so as to move around freely even in between male workers.I have seen some people from my office who wear clothes which distracts the male employees there and i think it really takes my mind off and i feel like slapping them.
If i think i am not comfortable in my clothes i prefer to wear indian wear like a proper salwar kameez which goes well with professional wear.

Your choice of words made me smile. Formals to me puts a picture of a long evening gown and a guy in a tuxedo. I cannot imagine wearing that to the office.
After I read more, I realized you were talking office wear. I do not work in an office now, but when I did, we had to wear suits and look very prim and proper. Later, the dress code relaxed a bit as the styles did. Finally the companies adopted "casual Fridays" when employees could wear jeans to work.
It was interesting, tho. The jeans you wore to work were like new and very dressy. Nothing like the ones you wore on the weekends when you were just out and about.

I have a place to work, our boss of our dress code is no requirement.
To work between suits and casual wear fitted between that you do not wear a suit, but suggested that the different styles to choose some decent clothes. For example, a shirt or sweater skirt assembly, the next forward with shoes or boots; can also try a round lapel sweaters and jackets, accompanied by well-made trousers.
