Are we living in the end of times?

As I look at the world around us,I can't help but think is the end near? were apart of a never ending war,the world trade center,the twin towers,floods,drought,globalwarming,crime rates,and finally our economic times.

We very well could be seems like a lot of stuff they predict will happen when where close to the end of the world is coming true since there more floods more storms more violence in the world. And the time is going by faster which they say time will speed up when the end is near. But hey as REM says its the end as the world as we know it and I feel fine.

May be you are write these may be the ending years of the world but I am pretty sure I will die before I see many disastrous things happening so I want to make my life more happy within the short interval of time I have got.It scaring me sometimes when I think about all the disasters that happened so I stopped thinking about them...
