Shopaholic?

Do you have the guts to escalate the issue to her parents? I think, they are the most reliable person to deal with the problem. It's an addiction. You did your part and she didn't listened, you are not the sole responsible if something bad happens to her as a consequence. DOn't burden yourself.

Hello snowdoll yes i am one shopaholic, i just love shopping till i drop.I go shopping every month atleast for a small stuffs but i have to make for it, its my routine if i dont shop i feel i am missing something in my life.Well i really love doing somethings from the core of my heart and from among them one thing is shopping for sure i am mad for it, and can go anytime and in any condition today i wasnt well but still i went for shopping of my dresses

I am a shopaholic,but I am not really a "rehab" case.I can still shop without hurting or starving myself.I think it is much better if she go and seek professional help.there may be a deeper problem that she tries to cure through shopping.spending money on clothes to the point of starving yourself is not healthy.

Shopping is a nice way to enjoy and relax. But if taken to extreme, it is detrimental. The fact that your cousin starve herself for the rest of the week just to be able to shop and spend money is troubling. I do think you and your other relatives should talk to her gently about this. If it still does not has an effect on her, maybe you guys need to show her tough love. For example, her parents could cut off her allowance and just give her food to bring to school. It may be embarrassing but it could be effective.
