Practicum Log #3

Yesterday was the third day of my practicum and I was supervised. I'm starting to like it more and am starting to better understand these children, and I think they're getting used to me and don't mind me around so much. I got there early and got to interact with the teachers in the teacher's lounge and got some free food. They're all pretty nice and welcoming. Today when the students came. Many of them from off the bus. They asked me for a hug after I greeted them. That made me feel good. However, the one boy who gave me a hard time last week told me I'm not his teacher. We did the morning greeting. Then my supervisor came and watched as I read a story to the children and asked them questions about it. She also saw me work in small group with them. She was nice and told me she could I liked children. She seemed nice. Hopefully, I did well. Next, we took them outside to play. Then, we did lunch. I helped the children open their food who needed help. Then, they wash their hand and had nap time. Then, I got to leave for lunch. When, I came back they had large activity time and got to dance to music. Then, I helped them put papers in their bookbags and lead them to their bus. Today was a lot better.
