TGIF is right! Friday is the last stretch before the weekend, and even though we're only a day away from the weekend, it can seem like the longest. We want the weekend to begin already! Just to be on the safe side, eat a healthy meal and get to bed at a decent hour as you'll have a busy day tomorrow. Sometimes when we don't feel normal, it's the beginning of a cold (but I hope not!). Where I live, it's hot hot hot and we would love some of your rain! Enjoy the weekend and hope you can use up some vacation time soon!

hi christylynn, with all these upsetting health problems your dad in law has its natural that you just feel burn out now, cause you have a big family to care for and enough on your plate with your smallest kid I assume-
Great to read you were able to leave work earlier than normal and also hope you get enough rest in spite of all this caring for your family.

I hear you, we all have days like that. My family has had a really rough month--my brother left for college for the first time, and then my grandmother died on the 2nd and we were just notified yesterday of a serious illness in the family, I injured my foot twice in one month (still nursing a sprain) my computer broke down, you get the picture--so I'm surprised I'm having a decent day, but of course it isn't over yet.
I also hear you on the rain--it's been gorgeous this week in New York, but it rained all summer. It literally rained for ten weeks and we were seriously starting to get freaked out. Meanwhile, the south was having this horrible drought...and now they're flooding. And of all places, Seattle got practically no rain and they had the heat wave we were supposed to have, but they never get it so they weren't prepared for it. The weather this summer has been ridiculous.

I wish hitting Friday meant that I could chillax for the weekend. Unfortunately, the life of a student doesn't work that way. So instead, I live for holidays...but if they're in the middle of semester, I usually have to study anyway.:D

I like Fridays too. It means it won't be long until Saturday morning like today. My whole family jumped into our bed and had a wrestle/hugging contest. I enjoy these times. The kids won't be little for long. Great memories.

Sometimes we get so caught up in our work, family, make dinnner, keep the house in order, go forth, that we forget to give us a moment to ourselves, and that click happens inside that asks us to cries HOLIDAYS!, quiet friend, try to take time with yourself doing something you like you conforting the soul, look at the sky, read a good book, watch a movie, something that "fill" inside, and wear a daily goal and you'll not have that feeling of not wanting to get up "every day is unique and beatiful to live it.;)

Hello there:)
trust me my happiness also knows no bound when its a weekend but since few weeks i am not well at all and it happend that i did not go to college and even did not give my exams.Its really tough for me but i was happy to not go for exams being not well.
I am home since a week and i am really happy my hoilday will end this mondy and then i have to be back there to study which i really dont feel like doing.
