How to Choose Chocolate that's High Quality and Tastes Good

i do not look on how it was manufactured.i was looking for any different kinds of chocolates whatever brands they have to caters to people as long it taste so good.of course cleanliness is observed when making chocolates.

For me i think the way you choose your chocolate is not just from the quality but from flavor as well. for me, i love chocolates with milk and caramel addings

well dark chocolate as what i have known has bigger quality in it. because it was said that they are good for our health. experts says they have bioflavinoids that stop certain bad processes in your body(quoted from my friend Hatley). and i am glad i did read about that. because i do love chocolate even if i am not suppose to eat much of it. its bad for me because i might end up having diabetes. its in my blood, you know.

I was told Malaysian chocolate are bitter. So do not buy chocolate bars made here. Buy Australia and European makes. They are super good.

Sorry to have missed your previous post vingyan. I will check it out definitely. Obviously I have a huge chocolate fetish that comes between my motivation to stay slim.

There, I think, is no hard and fast rule or a sure shot thing to get to know about the quality of choc'lates. Good brands are supposed to live upto their names and mostly they do. Another thin i have found helpful over the years is trial and error method which means I eat and get to know which one to keep which to eliminate from the list. It is also important to find out our individual preferences like dark, cripsy, melting, nutty, milky and then try them out.

Oh, my! One discussion about junk food and the other about chocolate. High quality chocolate tastes good and is not junk food:-)

I read the ingredients label! If the first ingredient is sugar then it is junk food. But the manufacturers are sneaky and they might have 4 different kinds of sugary stuff all added together so that sugar is not at the top of the list, but if you add them all together it would be. So you think maybe the first ingredient is chocolate, but it isn't. So I count how many different kinds of sugar are in there, too.

Chocolate does not taste very good without some sugar but to my thinking, neither does it taste good if it is too sweet.

Here in US, there's several little stores that actually sell homemade chocolate and candy. And lucky me my home state is the home for Hershey, the really good and affordable chocolate...LOL. I guess it depend on how people like their chocolate.

I also noticed that there are many chocolate lovers here. I had a discussion about chocolates and there were many who responded to that discussion which proves that there are really many who love chocolates.

There are chocolates which look nice and delicious but when get a bite, its taste isn't so good. Not all expensive chocolates are delicious . In fact, there are many cheap chocolate bars which taste better than the expensive ones.

I still prefer to buy brands of chocolates which I have proven to be delicious.
