Earn cash from links sites - I dont think bloggers know these links are just

Exactly! I dont think they understand the whole process of linking. I dont know much about these sites either but I would never put a link on my main blog.

I think when anyone starts the journey of net earning, there are many lessons to learn. My big lesson was joining way too many ptc sites but I am a fast learner. This linking thing is just ridiculous. Seems there is no content to be found, everyone is pointing to youtube.

I see all the sites you've joined. It's a learning curve we all go through! Your a bit older like me and I think we have a bit of old school in us! The new wave of younger people are a little lazy and want to use the short cuts like the "tube" because it's EASY! This is my feelings anyway! Either that or they just don't learn how to post links! Two years ago most of those who arrived here were willing to learn. Now they all think they know everything there is to know just because they have 10 sites that they click every day and they do not want to learn anything So sad

I know I sound like my mother when I say things like I did in that comment but that's just the way it is. I'm just waiting for some of the older Lotters who I know are doing well and earning elsewhere to get back here and post all their tips, especially now that admin is cleanng up more often here

I was surprised yesterday I reported a site and in 3 minutes it was gone! There's a change in the way the winds blowing in here, for the better, I hope they keep it up! T----

There is definately a change and it looks as though the garbage collector is always on the job recently. I have seen some pages with only 2 discussions left standing so that is very, very encouraging!

Yes, Mysd, you have been quite busy with 10,000+ posts! The admin has been busy too. I used to go thru 10 pages of spam to find good posts in MEM and now its down to 3 pages. You wouldnt have anything to do with this huh?

I have never given up reporting the spammers just like I have been doing for the last two years. Seems they take less time to deal with them now

I totally agree on the virus thing. That happened to me once before when I tried to pull up someone's blog. Just locked up my computer. Ouch!

As I said many times before, there is a fine line of promoting and discussing. I dont even post as much as you can see, unless I have something to say. Everyone is "dicussing" the same stuff anyway so why bother. I just jump in when something really interests me or my ususal rant, like these links!!!

I am aware of the 'fine line' and I miss your posts on here. I realise there is no point iin posting to find them under a deluge of trash within minutes but that situation seems to be altering

Yeah, I do miss those days when you, curiousman and others would all team up on a spammer. Those posts had excitement and many lessons.

I have been busy working on my sites and seo them. I guess we are doing the same thing. If we have sites in the same niches, we can probably help each other out.

Curious, are you kidding me? I was in the military. I know nothing about fashion. I would sweatsuits to work if they let me.

Sweatsuits cab be the 'in' thing too.

Anything can become fashionable if the right person wears it and starts a trend.

What a nice compliment and I too like learning. But me thinks you missed the point of my post. There is no doubt mylot is a magnet for great info but I was talking about all those links that take you to youtube and other ads. I would hate to think if someone put one of those links on the end of their mylot link. OMG, what is the world coming to?

I guess what I meant to convey is that I don't think those links belong here, even in profiles. Nobody wants to see them, and they are a lazy way to earn money from a site. With all the education available, I don't understand why they wouldn't produce a quality site that earns from content, not views. I don't think they take pride in what they put their name on anymore.

Now that I understand, what a great comment and you are so right. They just throw some banners on a site and call it a Blog? Most of my blogs dont even have banners on them.

You certainly called it. Sure someone is already working on the next big hot thing after blogging! Whatever it is, I hope its not video blogging. I too dont plan on earning much with my blogs via adsense. I am really working on the content so I can start advertising or some type of subscription service, where the real money is. Cutting out the middleman. You can search on the blog, but I cant even pull up the blog with those darn links.

Exactly. I only had 6 ptc sites on my lens and one I was going to delete because they never paid me. Its getting to the point, I dont even look at other blogs now, they all look the same.

I agree with your friend. It does save time when someone does want more info or want to join your site. You find yourself telling people the same info over and over when you can just give them one link to your blog with all the details. Think of it this way: if time were money, think of how much money you are losing by giving the same info over and over? Just a thought.
