|  A Bond girl is a character or the actress portraying a love interest or sex object of James Bond. They typically have names that are double entendres. Most Bond girls are gorgeous and absolutely stunning.
If they had played bimbo roles in the few earlier Bond movies, they were no longer bimbos in the following ones. Bond girls are now given more depth of character and play highly intelligent roles as villains, other agents and professionals.
In fact, they can equal Bond.
Every one of us die-hard James Bond fans will have a list of our favourite Bond girls.

I know my list is a bit unusual as I do love the lesser Bond girls just as much as the main ones especially Akiko Wakabayashi, Kristina Wayborn and Shirley Eaton.

| |  That was more a copycat version. Many of the ideas from James Bond movies were recycle almost to death. The earlier movies were more hard hitting such as Dr. No and from Russia with Love. From Goldfinger onwards, the humor element started coming into Bond movies. Sean Connery did well in Thunderball and You only lived Twice. He lost impact in Diamonds are Forever.
My favourite Bond girl is Claudine Auger as Domino in Thunderball. She is a real sea vixen and played very well against the antics of the anti heroine, Luciana Paluzzi.

| |  I love You Only Live Twice but I thought Thunderball was awful, so I really like Akiko as Aki but I didn't think Claudine Auger was so memorable as Domino, because I hated the film!

| |  Hi jonjee, although I'm not a big fan of James Bond franchise, I watched couple of their movies. I must say that so far Eva Green is the best James Bond girl until now, particularly because she's not like another Bond girl who are only there to make love with James Bond. She's beautiful, elegant, classy, and definitely very smart. My favorite part was when she banter Bond when they were in the train, it's their meeting if I'm not mistaken.

Some of my favourite Bond girls are the stronger ones that are feisty and can look after themselves, so I like Honor Blackman, Daniela Bianchi as Tatiana Romanova and Akiko as Aki in the brilliant You Only Live Twice.
