oh my i upset the "blue" thing......

I never clicked on then, but I'm pretty sure they are automatic advertising links, generated whatever by google or other search engine company. It is a way to mylot profit from the users who click on those automatic links, since it works just like an adsense account: you display ads on your site and every time someone clicks on then, visiting a promoted site, the site hosting the ad earns a little money.

I thought you were talking about LINKS there. But to my surprise, you were talking about something else. I haven't seen any blue thing or any bluer words when i am responding so i guess i need more clarification for this matter.

I think the blue thing you were referring to is an upgrade from our very own mylot admin. it's only seldom that i click on that hyper-link. it seems that they had figure out how to connect the advertisers to every word that we say here, that's why when ever we click on it we would see some advertisement.well, so far none of them interest me

The only thing that is concerning me is that yesterday in a response I saw the word 'diana' was blue. Now where is that leading others?

I clicked on "money" and got the yellow pages, yet mousing over the word produced an ad for googlecash. What a strange, confusing thing myLot has put here! You're lucky you've exiled yourself from those things. I tried to do the same when I read this discussion but to no avail! All I got were ads!

I just noticed the blue thing, I assume it is an advertising ploy much like the banners and such that decorate my lot. I tend to ignore all of those things I can and try on focus on meeting some nice people and finding a voice in the universe (that sounded deep didn't it) My advice, never click on anything blue - it may be contagious. cheers and peace.

I've heard a lot of people think these blue words are ads that myLot placed there (as keywords) to get us to click on them and make them a bit of money (PTCs). If that's the case, I think it won't make them much money because a lot of members ignore them (myself included) and don't click on them. I also think that it's an awfully sneaky way to get us to click on their PTCs in order to make them some money.

I click on links when they interest me. Single words don't interest me. If these are links to make myLot money, I'm sure they're making a bundle with all the members here clicking on them out of curiosity.
