That is a pretty pathetic way to break up with someone. But as you said none the less quite funny. I got to throw some respect his way for having the balls to tell her straight like that, but I also feel sad for the girl he did it to. Well I guess life goes on, relationships fail and there's always more fish swimming in the sea.

If he was dating her, he obviously saw something in her. Maybe as he got to know her better, he found that her attitude is poor and that made her "ugly" in his eyes. Regardless. that was a very unkind thing for anyone to say, especially as a breakup line. That girl is probably feeling pretty bad about herself right now. It may seem comical to some, but if she can not find the humor in it, the effects could be lasting.

Many times, even if you think a person is good looking when you first meet them, that starts to fade if once you get to know their true personality, you find them to have an ugly inner-being. I have had this happen to me in the past. There was a guy who at first sight, i thought was drop dead GORGEOUS....and would still be considered attractive by any gal who looked at him. But once i had the chance to get ot know him, and realize how conceited he was, and how much his attitude about other people just sucked, he started not looking attractive to me at all, in fact i coudln't stand seeing him, even though my friends would still drool over how dreamy he was. Amybe this is what happend with your friend.

Or maybe when he told her she was ugly, he didn't mean it physicly at all, he just meant that her attitude or inner being ws ugly, and he coudln't be with her any more because of it.

This is completely bad to tell someone that he/she is ugly and they broke up because of that. Beauty is from the personality of a person not from the appearances though.

hi, please let me say that it is really a little bit rude to say that a girl is ugly. we should not judge a person by her/him appearence, especially for girls, she must feel being offended. and the most important is that she heard from one who dates her. and i am quite confused that why he dates her when the first time he found that she is ugly.

Beauty is the eyes of the beholder. And for a really ugly girl (no offense to anyone), as her bf, he has no right to tell her that to hurt her feelings bad.

Learn a few dance and you are in the top notch of drop dead beautiful girl category. Look at the catwalk models. Some really look hideous but they are considered super by couture houses!
