Abort the Baby or the guy you love?...

Unfortunately those who are close to us know how to manipulate us the best. This girl will pay a long time for that lesson learned.

What a nasty guy. He is a fool and a bully. His girlfriend should have been told she could have an abortion or bring her baby into the world alive with his loving support. I imagine the guy's parents would have understood that pregnancy can be surprise. I think that the girl might one day regret having the abortion and start hating him for that awful memory. I am pro-life and I wouldn't ever have an abortion. I think if some other lady has an abortion it has to be 100% her choice. Her boyfriend got her pregnant and so he should have loved not had his son or daughter killed before they would have been born.

i don't really see how the guy is really 'nasty'...the guys doesn't want to have a kid in his life at this point of time..and it's not he forced the girl..he gave a choice..either him or the baby...just because a condom breaks or the girl forgets to take her pill doesn't mean a 20 year old guy with no money has to become a dad forever...that is why abortion exists..because in a democracy..people can choose...pro-choice.

I have gone thru an abortion experience, and even several years later have asked myself if it was the "right" thing to do. Everyone has a set of circumstances in life to go thru. This is one I would not wish on anybody. Yes, you have the "right" to choose whether or not to bring a life into this world. I also firmly believe that life chooses us. That being given a child is the biggest blessing and honor one could be given.

There are just too many other options that people have today. So many people want children and cannot conceive a child. There is adoption, open adoptions, and so many other choices.Maybe someone in your family may wish to help raise the child or even adopt the child ...or to help out with the expense. Besides this, there are several government agencies to help with the costs as well. (KidCare is one)

I would strongly advise against abortion. The emotional scars left behind by having an abortion are much worse than dealing with a current difficult circumstance in life. I advise that if you have an abortion, or have had an abortion that you get counseling from somewhere to help you thru the emotional grief you bring on yourself.Aborting a child causes the same cycle of grief as losing a loved one, along with a whole host of other emotional feelings.

Years later even after being married and having a child I still felt that I somehow did not deserve it, as if the choice I had made several years prior took away my right to be a parent. Abortion may seem like the easy thing to do in order to avoid an embarrassing few months of your life, but it is certainly not the "right" thing to do.

Unfortunately your friend might begin resenting her boyfriend for the abortion he manipulated her into. She might get depressed from her abortion even years after it happened. Her boyfriend should have faced up to the situation. He was unfair to say she had to abort their baby to stay with him. He was such a nasty person. The baby was the innocent one in all of this. A lady that finds she is pregnant can become a single mother and lose her useless boyfriend.
