Bluetooth is a technology whereby you have a microchip implanted in a tooth. When you get a call or connect to a network your tooth lights up with a blue LED and you can actually make a call just by hearing the other person through your bones (to your ear) and by talking. It's very cool.

A 'blackberry' phone is one that you can actually pick off certain rather thorny bushes in the fall/autumn.

These two descriptions are (of course!) total fantasy and nonsense ... I don't expect you to believe me for one minute (but the idea about the phone implanted in a tooth is scarily possible!)

'Bluetooth' is the name for a wireless technology that allows you to connect your phone to another phone or to your PC without wires. I have know idea why it's blue or what it has to do with teeth but that is what it is - no wires. It's used not only for connecting your phone to other phones in the vicinity or to your PC but also (and probably most often) for connecting your phone to those little earpieces that you sometimes see taxi drivers and delivery persons wearing. One often sees them talking animatedly to some invisible person and then notice that they are wearing some kind of tiny thing in their ear. Their actual phone is (presumably) in their pocket!

Blackberry is the name of a make of mobile phone. It's rather wide and has a largish screen and a full (very tiny) keyboard. It does other things besides being a phone, too. In fact it's a mini computer which can surf the Internet, manage your life with a calendar, take photos (and send them to people) and do other things that you'd probably be better off buying a laptop for. Many mobile phones can do most of these things anyway and a number have copied the Blackberry in having a full (if miniscule) keyboard.

Personally, I don't see what all the fuss is about. Yes, I guess that it is only a year or so before desktops, laptops and even netbooks will be a thing of the past. Everyone will be carrying a computer as powerful as any of these in their pocket. Blackberry was, perhaps, one of the first to make it a reality but Nokia and many others have answered with their own (and possibly better) versions of the same kind of thing!

They're handy, these Bluetooth earpieces, aren't they? When they first came out I thought my area had gone senile overnight. I'd think: "God, he's only young, but he's wandering around, muttering away to himself."

Then I got to be a menopausal old lady myself, and now I'm a mutterer. Thing is, it's for real. I wander round the store going: "Hm, that's a good idea, I think I'll do that - what was that you said?" Thing is, anyone listening thinks, "Oh, she's got a Bluetooth set."

Only I haven't - this is me, and it's for real.

The day they invent a Blackberry phone that leaves a pool of widdle wherever it goes, I'll know I've arrived.

BlackBerry
The so-called "Blackberry" (BlackBerry) is a mobile e-mail system terminal, you can use with mobile phones.

There are built-in "BlackBerry" feature phones. It contains a very small terminal standard computer keyboard, the black keys look like strawberry seeds few black surface, so only get this nickname. From the exterior point of view, "Blackberry" product not so much a cell phone, but rather that functions more like a conversation with GUIDEC or Pocket PC. Using this device, mobile phone users will be able to e-mail each other at any time with the computer.

Bluetooth is a short-range communications support equipment (usually within 10m) of radio technology. Be able to include mobile phones, PDA, wireless headsets, laptop computers and related peripherals, and many other wireless information exchange between devices. The Bluetooth standard is IEEE802.15, work in the 2.4GHz band, the bandwidth of 1Mb/ s.

A much more accurate description than mine!

What I didn't know (until I looked it up) was that Bluetooth was named after a Danish King, Harald Bluetooth and that the logo is a 'combination rune' of the letter H and the letter B. It was named after him because he, apparently, united 'dissonant Danish tribes into a single kingdom' and that this is what the technology is supposed to do with different devices (a bit of a stretch of a definition, if you ask me!)

The explanation that the tiny keyboard buttons "look like the seeds of a strawberry" appears to have some truth. The team responsible for naming it, however, thought that '"straw" sounded too slow, so they came up with the name "blackberry"'.

Hey,

Actually these days many phones have got bluetooth built in to the phones. Now it isn't much of a big deal because you can find many phones like this, including Blackberry phones. Blackberry is just a phone brand or make. Make sure you have a good day, God bless and Happy Lotting!!happy
