What did you think of this movie?  | |  I recently watched the movie Requiem for a Dream because everyone was always talking about how great of a movie it is. I didn't like it at all! Maybe it has to do with the fact that I watched it so many years after it first came out, but I didn't think it was so great. What did you think of this movie??

| | | | | | 1.  thelastwolf113 (3054) | 2 months ago |  What a coincidence! One of my son's friends said I HAD to see, it was great blah blah blah. I HATED IT. What a bunch of screwed up people. Drug addiction is painful to watch, it was so sad, and the things these people did to themselves for drugs was just awful. I don't want to see things like that in a movie, bad enough it happens in real life. Two thumbs down from me. I don't think I'd have liked it any better had I saw it earlier.

It was pretty entertaining and I liked the overall atmosphere and visuals.
I don't think it's so old that watching it now would be any different then when it came out. I think you've heard many people praising it so you expected a masterpiece and end up disappointed.
