I have had all the federal reserve bills at least once, they are A-L. If you look to the left of George on the dollar bills, there is a circle with a letter and around it says what federal reserve it is. At Where's George. com that is a bingo for Federal Reserves. Started this hobby in July. I have averaged one hit (that means someone inputting the dollar from another location)per month and some people have to wait 6 months before they get another person putting any of their dollars online. I've gotten one bookend which is a dollar bill where the number starts and ends with the same letter, in this case, an E at the beginning and an E at the end. I have credit for only one state, but 2 counties in that state. So three bills so far, one went east, one west, and one south. North would be Canada. That would also give me my first out-of-USA country, but that hasn't happened yet. So one state, two counties, and three directions from 3 bills, not bad. I've entered over $100 in the three months. I've read the new members forums quite often and read the Where's George dictionary. That's how I found out what a bookend bill is and then got one. I'm having lots of fun. I've found the most lively and the most dead zip codes in my area. Seems to go by population.

That has to be a fun hobby. Am still watching my one dollar bills for you but haven't seen anything beyond the "L." Congrats on getting your bookends.

According to what I read in the Dictionary, it only goes to L for Federal Reserves. Seems strange, doesn't it? So you don't have to be on the look out any more, I have my reserves. I just got two more book ends, too. A xxxxxxxA and C xxxxxxC. Thanks, you've been a big help, and that reminds me, I have another one to put in the website and mark tonight. Thanks and take care.

I have fun on the forums over at wheres george. Someone drew the most beautiful statue of liberty on a dollar bill.People stamp other things besides where's george. Lots of pentagon 9/11 stampers out there. The Collectors part where people will pay money for dollars and coins, interesting, too.

I added a few more bucks to my wheresgeorge list, but so far I've had no hits - well, a few of them are still in my pouch, so I haven't "released" them back into the wild yet

Oh, you're getting the lingo down, "back into the wild." Well New York has a lot more Georgers than most other places besides California. It's easier to get a hit. It's cold, people are bored, and curious. Lots of computers here, too. The top places for hits can be found by using zip codes and seeing where the places near you have the most hits. On the New Member boards, college areas, vending machines (sometimes), restaurants, gambling places are listed as places that get lots of hits. I've sent out over 100 ones so far and have gotten three hits. Some people had to send 500 Georges out into the world before they got any hits. So everywhere is different. It will take awhile before you get to know your area. Thanks for responding and take care, keep putting some out there and the hits will come.

Sounds like you are really into this. I have actually never heard of doing this before your discussion. Brings to light what other hobbies are out there for people to do.

Yes, there are soo many hobbies. This one comes along when I have no money to put into a hobby. But I do have red ink for correcting papers and I do get change in dollar bills. So no cost to start. Like Mylot. Have a computer, time, and a variety of interests and conversant capabilities, so why not? Of course Mylot pays and this hobbie doesn't, but it is interesting to see where the bills go. And I never really noticed the circles having the locations of Federal Reserves in them before, so I'm learning a lot. Thanks and take care.
