Favorite Fries: Store Bought, Restaurant Or Home Made?

But seriously I think Restaurant ones are just awesome,I won't tell which is my favorite because that was not what you asked. But I have never tried homemade so i am impartial I guess,the store bought ones never work out right because i think my stove is plotting against me.

They used to be restaurant fries, Carl's Junior, but they changed them some years back and now I don't have a favorite any more. My Dad used to make fries that were pretty good. Aha, warm, fuzzy comfort food memory...

If it's french fries I don't mind much it's always very delicious for me

But I like what is served in the restaurants and is better in taste than if I prepare it home......

I love McDonald's fries the best. They have always been my favorite.

Burger King's fries to too fried for me. That's probably because they double fry them. No thank you.

I don't really like anything at Wendy's so therefore I don't care for their fries.

I have made homemade french fries before and yes they were really good. However, like you said, they are a pain to make. But they are so good when they're fresh like that.

Hi Lamby, I can conjure up a rather good chip but the after smell puts me off. My favourite chips are made in a top of the mountain dive, the dirtiest place you've ever seen, but delicious chips from home grown spuds fried in home produced olive oil. You stink when you leave and need to hang the coats up outside overnight but at least the bulk of the smell remains up the mountain.

i prefer my own except in the case of mc donalds.

at home i can season them my way,and also make "steak cut" fries.

Most definitly HOMEMADE only....bake mine from fresh potatos, and they are so good, now i'm hungry for them, & not one potato in the entire house....thanks alot lambie..lol....I toss them in olive oil & bak at 350 for 30 minutes, turn over & bake another 30 minutes, Perfect fries every time...lori

Homemade always beat any that I have had anywhere outside home. Even when I am at a friend's home theirs are still better than any I have had in any takeaway or restaurant anywhere, here or UK.

What time are your opening hours?

If we are out and getting fast food, I would say that Wendys fries are the best... the rest of them I dont really care for. But when it comes to my favorite fries I have done pretty well myself coming up with a way to make my own at home and I bake them... I cut them into wedges and top them with a little Extra virgin olive oil... and then salt them and bake them in the oven, when they come out I top them with a little sprinkle of parmesean cheese and my kids love them!!!

this way they are much more healthy, much more flavorful and I dont feel bad about having fries myself too!!
