Wii have a Wii |
|
Lol, I know that We spelled like We... My husband and I went to get a wii today, a game system we've both been wanting. It was supposed to be a surprise but I kept nagging him until he told me, and I asked if we could go get it today, which we did. We have the Wii sports games. Anyone else have a wii, and if so what games do you like on the wii, or on the gamecube!
Hope your having a wonderful day.

1. loganirado (252) | 3 months ago | Congratulation! Wii is a wonderful gaming system for people from all ages. I don't have one myself since I opted to buy a Sony Ps3, which I don't regret. Nut if I were to choose between an Xbox 360 and a Wii, I'd definitely for the second choice.

SomeCowgirl (8063) | 3 months ago | My husband and I both wanted different consoles. I let him get the 360 first and we've had that for awhile. Now we've got the wii.

SomeCowgirl (8063) | 3 months ago | We don't have the wrist strap thing yet, so we're definitely being careful. There's some valuables in the room, and the entertainment center has glass on it! I don't mind putting the wrist strap on, I've played the wii with people who've had one...
It's funny and I was talking to my husband about it, when playing the wii with my nephew he warns to make sure the rubber casing is on, but not the strap! I think the straps attached to the casing, so it's the same... but you would think he'd warn of the strap!

SomeCowgirl (8063) | 3 months ago | Yep we got married this Past saturday. We went to the bank on monday and the teller manager's brother had gotten married the same day but outside. It rained cats, dogs, giraffe's, you name it! lol! I'll have to upload some pictures! Wii fits are now 199.99 but we got a used one instead of the 199.99 and it was 170 dollars with a warranty, the wii sports game.. and the tax was 14.00 by itself... but all in all a good deal.
Oh and it was my christmas present, I kept guessing and he finally told me! yay!

4. saizo6 (504) | 3 months ago | Congrats for getting a Wii! You guys won't be disappointed because there are some really fun things to do on the Wii. My brother bought one two years ago and my siblings and I often enjoy playing on it. Wii Sports is really fun and addicting. We're a fan of the bowling and tennis game. Some other fun games we own are Super Smash Bros. Brawl and the Mario Kart games. SSBB is fun because you can choose various Nintendo characters and have them brawl with each other. It's fun watching Kirby or Pikachu take on Donkey Kong or something like that. Mario Kart is another fun game. So far, this is the one game that we have convinced our mom, who's not really a gaming fan, to play. Another multiplayer game we like is the Tales of Symphonia game. It's an RPG and the only time everyone can be involved is during the battles. Most of the games we own are multiplayer games. My siblings and I mainly look for those type of games because we like to get together and play on the Wii while hanging out.

SomeCowgirl (8063) | 3 months ago | The wii does sound like a family oriented system. I've seen some family oriented games on the system as well. My husband and I have family and friends with the wii so we can always borrow games to test out before either buying a copy ourselves or deciding to just not worry about it, and possibly borrow it again later. Our nephew has the Super Smash Bros Brawl I think, and he has mario kart as well. I've heard of the game Tales of Symphonia, not sure that I liked what I saw on it or not. I think I liked it a little. I want to get the circus games, or the carnival games and try them out. I'd also like to get one of the trivia or interactive games that could played on weekend with the whole family!

| hehe88 (51) | 3 months ago | yes, wii is more of a family oriented system. It is so boring to play wii alone

SomeCowgirl (8063) | 3 months ago | It sounds like your daughter has the wii sports resort, I think my sister has that one. We only have the wii sports, and wow I need to exercise. My fitness age is 71! I stunk at the baseball, it didn't have me do golf... Oh but we do have golf just not on the fitness test! Dab hand, that means you were great at it right? I know when I tried hula hooping on the wii at my sisters I stunk at it, my husband was better. We had a hula hoop from the store but it broke, not a wii hula hoop if they make those, but just a hula hoop that lights up... I bounced it up in the air and it came down and brook but shh! don't tell my mom in law! lol!

6. Rite17 (141) | 3 months ago | love the Wii!!! we went halves on ours and got the Wii sports... Ggreat game!! and now fella is obsessed with getting highest scores and badges aslo, but if he loses points he has to get them back even if he's having a bad day at gaming... Gets uptight and thrashes the remote on the sofa!!! baby!! lol but haven't been on for ages now as he wants to play 2player games... which is a nightmare!! if he loses he has to beat me!! but if he beats me he has to beat his own personal score on that game!!! TOO much for me!! so i try to play it when he's not in... which is hard as im out when he's in n bk when he's bk from work also...:-( but he hates Boxing!!! and i love thrashing myself on it!!! so if i concentrate on that game he won't want to play 2player!! ------- 'thought' he might want to play anotehr game afterwards! 'DOH'

SomeCowgirl (8063) | 3 months ago | My husband and I are both competitive people. We have fun at it though, and try not to get too stressed out. My husband is the type of person who likes to continue to try on something until he gets it. I can get bored in that way. With the Wii I don't think we will as much because of the interactiveness we have with the system. We can move around instead of sitting on our butts, which trust me is something we like to do, especially me! lol! I didn't realize you could get badges on the game until my husband got one last night, we got the game system last night! lol! We had fun, and we're really hoping that his parents get involved with it too! It's fun for the whole family, that's for sure!

SomeCowgirl (8063) | 3 months ago | I think that the game systems are beginning to be more technological then before. Older systems are a plug in and play sort of thing, not hard to understand as the ports are either color coded (av cables) or are shaped so that they fit in like a puzzle piece, or like a lego! lol! The systems can be costly and I do think in ways they jip us by raising the price to meet what they put into making the game system, etc... and alice is right! Those games can be costly! The wii is compatible so that gamecube games can be played, I think most systems do that now. You can play a game from the last system they made on the newest system.
Gameboy's I believe are the portable nintendo's. Those just have a few buttons, a battery, and I think there games can be just as costly too!

8. JenInTN (3576) | 3 months ago | That's great! I haven't got one but I've been very curious about them. I can't make up my mind between a Wii, an Xbox, or a PS3. So how are you liking it?
| |
| |
|
|
SomeCowgirl (8063) | 3 months ago | Let me try to help you out. My husband has the 360, or we do, but until recently he was the one using it the most. The 360 has achievements, so you can pretty much go in there and get rewarded just for playing a game. The PS3 has something like that, and so does the wii sports for the wii, not sure about anything else. We don't have the ps3... The wii, I am liking so far. It's great to use for exercise!

SomeCowgirl (8063) | 2 months ago | I know that we both wanted the wii, but me more, I think. I know there's a lot on amazon.com for the wii that is at really good prices, so when it comes to stocking up for the wii we will probably be getting things from there. I love you.

|
|
hellcowboy (4851) | 2 months ago | Yeah there is a lot of Wii stuff on Amazon for good prices so we will definitely get stuff from there, plus we can also get stuff from Wal Mart especially when we get the discount cards since I work there and Game Stop also has some deals especially since we got the Game Edge card so we save ten percent on used games, and we also get ten percent more on trade-ins so that is nice, and we can pre-order and reserve things coming out for the Wii at Game Stop,I love you with all my heart and soul, have a great day, good luck with all your mylotting goals, and Happy Posting Baby.
