how did you get rid of acne scars

There are some gels you can buy, like Mederma, which are supposed to fade scars, but in my experience they don't work very well. The only option I've heard works really well is laser treatment, but its expensive and I don't like the idea of it as its got to be risky using lasers on your skin

time is the best healer for scars,gradually they will get lighter and less noticable,or there's special make up you can get,if you're feeling really flush with money then you can have a chemical skin peel

I would suggest you to see a dermal specialist/ doctor, rather than randomly trying new products by your own. They have more knowledge and experience, so you skin type and scars will be closely examined.
I think the cost you need to pay will just average and worth it, rather than buy some cheaper products then have nothing in return.
As per my personal experience, I generally do not have so much problems with acne, so I just clean up my face regularly.

if your scars are not pitted scars and only skin discoloration then your scars will fade away with time. However to speed up the process u can use product that contains retin-A such as Aberela, Renova, Retin-A, Avita, or Stieva-A. Retin-A works out by speeding up skin's cell turnover. However though, in most countries, retin-A can only be acquired with prescription.

Laser is the fastest (and expensive) way of treating your scar. Laser treatment removes the uppermost layer of the skin and your skin is forced to 'heal' itself with a new layer.

A cheaper alternative to laser is microdermabrasion. microdermabrasion works by sloughing out the outermost layer of the skin using micro crystal. microdermabrasion is good if u want to have even skin tone. however though, it doesn't not deal well with deep acne pitted scars. microdermabrasion can be done at home by yourself. An example of microdermabrasion product would be from Dermanew.

The cheapest alternative (and slow) is to use product that contains whitening element. Fair & lovely anti marks cream got good reviews in treating acne marks. However it only deals with pigmentation only. Pitted scars will still exist though.
