What do you do to repay your parents sacrifices for you?

for my case its just parent, only my mom, my dad passed away when i was 9 yrs old. well how do i repay her... well all my earnings go to her. i make sure the house rent is paid bills and utilities, and all the debts to be cleared. she can ask me anything she wants and she knows i'll give it to her, but she never ask that much. she don't take advantage of it. i love my mom so much i left my boyfriend for her. thats how important she is to me. i can afford to lose everything but not her. I deeply love my mom, and even though some say i am giving up too much i don't care, i will still give her everything i can. cause i know how much she has screficed for me and my siblings. and i want her to know that everything she did was all worth it.

I can never ever repay whatever my parents has given me, that's a fact. I owe them too much! All I can do is to love them back as much as I can, and be there for them. Being in another province far from parents limits things that I could do to make them happy, but I'd try my best. I will never forget them and I visit them as often as I can. I call them a few times a week, send them gifts, I want them know that I love them so much.

I wonder about the word 'sacrifice'...
They are parents, they chose to have children, so why should anything they do be seen as a sacrifice? It's something I've been wondering about.
Isn't a sacrifice something you give up, despite loving it or being attached to it, or despite the fact that it is so precious?
But if you're giving it up for something better, then is it really a sacrifice?
Just wondering out loud...

Well, i have been helping them financially whenever and wherever required.Basically whenever required i reach out to them and help them in whatever way possible.I take care of their health insurance premiums and others.But then, how i repay them is in doing the same to them and doing one thing that is simply attianable-keep and make them happy.I always talk to my parents ona daily basis for some good amount of time and make sure they feel i am near them though i might be far off.Thanks!

I think the best way to repay your parents for all their sacrifices is to be the kind of parent to your own children that your parents were to you. To "carry forth their legacy". Their gift to you was to nurture you and prepare you for the future as a parent and in turn you should do the same for your children. Obviously if monetary help is needed and you have means to help do so but I do not think parents expect any payment for their sacrifices made. At least as a parent I do not.

we should help our parents even if we have our own family, we should take good care of their health because they would be getting old and we should be the one to buy their medicines in order for them to take it regularly and avoid illness to them.
