Promise Rings

I think that is only the way to show the seriousness of the relation and how can both of you feel this in this way. there is no guaruntee about anything if the person is loyal. and if he is he really does not need anything.
but what ever if he is or he is not. that is the way to show and feel the charm of the relation. so enjoy this.

I think that if promise rings are something you believe and have faith in and feel strongly about then that's great for you, absolutely... However, I'm gonna tell you what my Mom told me when I was younger: You don't buy a new car without test driving all of the ones you like first.

That's not to promote anything immoral, and I did wait until I was at least a legal adult and responsible for my own actions. I just couldn't have imagined waiting until marriage. I didn't get married until I was 23 and my husband was wonderful at first but turned out to be a jerk in the end. So I guess it depends on who you are as a person. It seems that you and your boyfriend have a lot of faith and really care for one another, so I definitely think that it's great for you to exchange the rings. I just don't think it's right for everyone!

I think it is a nice idea but saying that a ring do not mean much as a ring of any kind will not keep two people together and it is not a wedding ring.Why dont you get a joint bank account and both show that kind of a commitment as the money then can go towards your future say for a engagement ring or even a wedding as those are the main two rings in any relationship.
