Years ago there were alot of work at home jobs.

I remember when I was a kid and my mom and sister ordered some kind of thing in the mail where you had to write copies or something like that. I wanted to help out so bad, but my mom said my handwriting wasn't good enough.

I'm not sure exactly what kind of work at home program it was, but I do know they never did anything with that package. It upset me so much, because I wanted to help, plus I wanted to make money.

I have been trying to do stuff for myself and make an extra buck here and there for as long as I can remember. Even when I was in the 4th grade, my mom gave me money to buy a book at the book fair at school. The book I picked out was 1001 Free Stuff For Kids. LOL It's funny that I have never changed, in that sense.

Now, I even have my own web site (you can see it listed on my profile) where I try to make a buck and try to show other people how to make an extra buck here and there by working from home. LOL I guess it's just in my blood.

It seems that all of those kinds of jobs now are scams. I would like to find something that I could do like that now and make some money too. I see a lot of ads for those type of jobs but I know most are scams and they always want money for the information. I won't pay for a job.

I had signed up for one of those jobs, and then I found out it was a scam, the next thing I knew, the people who where selling the scam, were in jail and I was getting my money back, so I gusee you can say, those kind of work at home jobs, are a thing of the past.

As others have said, I think a lot of those work at home jobs are/were scams! Stuffing envelopes, making crafts, and stuff like that - all scams. I once sent away for a free newsletter that was supposed to tell us all about these scams - with a listing of real work at home jobs in the back. Well, looking through the list, I could tell those were work at home scams too - the newsletter was just a ploy to make you think it was a reputable source for jobs (which is was not)!!

A lot of people have caught on to these scams, or at least I hope. With the computer, scammers have been able to bring in more prey . . . instead of having to pay for expensive advertising in the paper . . . so they still are out there. So beware even if you look it up online!!!

People woke up and realized those were rip offs and slavery jobs, so no one wants to do them anymore, company stopped offering them too because people would take the material and not do a good job or keep the product and not return them. Hence PTC jobs online.
