| I HEARD ASTONISHING (if true) NEWS TODAY!!  | | | |  President Bush's wonderful tax cuts are about to expire, & The One is sure to let them, so that he can get more money (he said) for his far-left causes. A few were named, such as sex ed (including how to cross dress & other bizarre stuff for pre-teens), & the usual pork, but one item jumped off the page at me, & I simply could NOT believe what I was reading.
I want you to wrap your head around this concept: Money to pay for a new bridge, & it's to be called (are you ready?): "The Kennedy Chappaquiddick Memorial Bridge."

I have trouble believing such a thing is possible, but if it's true--what in the wide wide world were they thinking when they named this bridge-to-be?!? I can't believe the Kennedys are sanguine with this. I mean, surely they'd like never to be faced with that ugly memory again, so who would DO this, & WHY???!?
Sorry for the "elephantitus" of the punctuation (it's something I usually frown on), but my mind is just totally boggled!
Please, someone--anyone!--tell me I dreamed this, or it's a prank, or more details, at the very least! I'm going to go lie down, now. Maybe I can find an old movie or Algore's book or something that'll lull me to sleep.

As for the BC? Who knows. I have read that the Kenyan authorities have records on him that are under guard, locked away. Maybe someday we'll find out...probably long after he's wrecked the country, then tossed it to the UN, like a bone to a dog.
