makeing a web site need help

I am not getting understand that what you want, I think you have a free site and you want to make your own website now. so, why do not you take help of any web hosting company, you can register a domain name and a hosting plan to have your own website. i have my own website and I made it on M/S Frontpage its easy. You can take a look in my profile.

there are literally dozens of free hosting sites. if the one that your using isn't working for you there are many more that could fit the bill. If you do want a paid hosting because they are probably better than i recommend you search for them on ebay. There are lots of great hosting deals on ebay for like 2-5 dollars per year. and most of these people are power sellers with great ratings so you know you can trust them for the most part.

I don't get it ..

5$ a year for a site?

While you say you have a free one, I think you are speaking about .. hosting. And PAID hosting is 3-10$ a MONTH (but no ads from them, no restrictions, more space, bandwidth and so on.

On the other hand, if you speack about DOMAIN NAME:

extensions:
- .info is about 2$ a year
- .com, .net, .org etc are about 7-12 $ a year
- .tv and some more very special can go to 40$ a year.

- good COMPLETE domain names (mean yourname.com, for example) which are not free now (somebody take'em already) you can find in many places they are for sell by them owners (not all, not always), usually in an auction or special related sites.

Do you need domain name along with hosting space. Then its cost more per year. If you only register domain name it cost 10$ per year and you can redirect to your existing domain.

Better idea is redirect to your existing hosted site to new domain name. Please contact me, if you need further help.
