If your child came out as Gay/Les, what would you say?  |

 For most adults, this is a nightmare. Your child comes up to you and says "Mommy/Daddy, I have something to tell you. I like [the same sex]." What would your response be? Have you already gone through this situation? If so, please let us know.
Gay marriage is a hot topic now a-days in politics (in the USA). How do you feel on the situation? If your child was Gay or Lesbian, would you feel differently?

I can't wait until bigotry is pretty much diminished. Then, there would be no need for Pride Parades (which really does increase peoples pride and the "we're better than you" mind set, imo).
