Hello fellow mylotters. Just a while ago I found out that one of my posted discussion yesterday was deleted. It was already the second time I had a deleted discussion. My first discussion that was deleted is when I asked about how will I get referrals and where will I find the referral tools here in mylot. I found out that the reason why it was deleted is because there's a lot of topic similar to that already. At least I learned my lesson there. The second discussion that was deleted is about my first payment in neobux. I didn't put any link there or recruit some referrals. i just told how happy I am for what I received. I also uploaded a screen shot of my payment. Now I'm wondering what was my violation in that discussion. Is it also the same as my first violation in which I just had a duplicate topic? I really don't intend to violate mylot's rules because I'm one of those who are really doing a serious thing here. How about you? How many violations have you had here in mylot?

I have noticed my number of posts slipping sometimes. I started a discussion about that and someone told me that it was likely that some discussions that I had responded to have been deleted. I wonder if I have ever begun a discussion that had violated because I wouldn't ever want to violate the My Lot rules. I know that you didn't mean to violate the rules either. Good luck.

Hi Maximax,
Sometimes , I also get to see my post marking is slipping. I never know the reason until I read your response here. SO I need to be careful while selecting the discussions to respond. Else it will just a waste of time to respond those discussions that is violating the rules at Mylot!
Need to check out if we response to those violating discussions, is that means that we are violating the rules too???
Do you think Mylot should give us an email notification when the discussions that we create is deleted so we get to know what is wrong about? Or Mylot also need to send email to us regarding the discussions we had participated is deleted so we get to why our marking is slipping ?
Good luck to all of you and we are not mean to violet the guidelines !

Thanks for that. It's true that I really didn't mean to violate any rules here in mylot. I've always experience to lose some my posts because the discussions I responded were being deleted. i never imagined mine would also be one of those to be deleted. I hope I won't have any violations again in the future.

I don't start all that many discussions, so I havn't had it happen with disucssions, but some of my responses have been deleted, and I believe it was beause the discussions were deleted. I try to avoid responding to those, but at times, I do, to help the newbies that come in here and need help with one thing or another. I have noticed lately, there have been a lot of repeat discussions, and I think most of those are getting deleted. I will respondd to some of those as there again, they are stated by newies, and I want to help them as much as possible. I know that by doing so, I will lose earnngs too, but I want to help them to understand theat they violated the guidelines, and told them not to do it again so as to avoid getting their discussions deleted. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.

That's such a good deeds of yours. I salute you for that. You're one of those who are willing to welcome newbies and guide them in the right path. May you continue doing that because it's also for the benefit of mylot. By the way, is it true that I may get banned if I already have 3 violations?

You know, I really don't know if that is true or not. I haven't heard anything about it. I haven't had any violations myself, and I sure do hope to keep it that way. Maybe, someone that knows abut the banning part of it, that they might have the answer to your question. Happy mylotting.

Personally no matter who you are from time to time there will come a situation where you end up having a discussion in here deleted or two. It is really nothing you can control unless you blatantly are posting things you know are against the TOS as well. What I have learned, is it is not always your discussion that gets it removed. Sometimes it could be something that someone responds back to it as well. All I can say is do not let it bother you too much. Continue to experiment posting New discussions here, and posting back to others as you have time, and good things will happen for sure. Wishing you the Best.

Thanks for the encouragement. To be honest, I was really bothered by it and haven't posted any new discussions yet. So fas this is the last discussion I posted after my 2nd violation. I am afraid I might commit another violation again.

I have just now faced this problem while I am starting of new discussions. I bit afraid about message arrived immediately after posting that topic. Should I worry about this.. After I reading of all mylotters comments, I realized some times it happens. But I still have doubt in that does it effects to my account with mylotter and what kind of preventive measures should I take to avoid future lose if it really happens.

Best thing that we can do is to adhere to mylot's guidelines. Read and check the FAQ's and the rules first before starting a discussion to make sure we are not violating anything. Lessons are learned on my case.

I feel sorry for you. I understand that your intentions are good. I had one discussion deleted too when i announced that i reached my 100th post when i was just starting out in this site. but still, lessons learned there that milestone discussions are not allowed. i don't know the exact reason for you but i guess this should be a lesson for everyone to continually review the FAQ and understand it fully so no efforts are gone to waste.

I'm sorry to hear about this. Does MyLot actually give you a reason for deleting discussions? I started a few discussions but I always search first if there are already similar discussions in existence. I did not find any so I posted the topic. However, once the topic is posted I find to my dismay that there are a lot of similar ones. I wouldn't be surprised if these discussions get deleted soon. In response to your question, I have no discussions deleted as yet and no violations committed.

it's good to hear that you don't commit any violations yet here in mylot. As on my case, my first violation is due to similarity of topic. After I learned that I always make sure to search for the topic first before posting it. On the other hand, my second violation as I have learned is due to a violation of one of the guidelines which states that there should be no discussions here regarding milestones.

Makes me want to re-read the FAQs and guidelines on MyLot just to make sure I understood everything correctly.

So far, I couldn't think of any violation i have committed hence no discussion deleted. Having not known all the specific rules I hope I don't do anything wrong that is considered a violation. I'm sure some are done inadvertently and they learn the lesson afterwards. What worries me most are violations that will cause the admin to delete the whole account which I have heard happened to several users.
have fun

That's good for you. And yes, I didn't really mean to violate any rules and I surely did learn my lessons. I hope I won't get to the point of having my account terminated by the admin.

Hi, Ldel! It happens... don't worry. I did that once or a few times (??) when I posted about my milestone of reaching the 100th post. So, the best thing to do is always read the 'DOs' and DON'Ts' to avoid such things from re-occur. Sometimes, some users do know that their discussions will get deleted, but they are willing to take the chances. They do it for fun, I guess. What I have learned from here is that if you want to share your milestone, you can actually twist the post a little bit and ask some questions that are related, but not only talk about your first payout.

Yes. Now I know that we shouldn't be talking here about our milestones. I don't want my future discussions to be deleted again. I guess I just have to be more careful. Thanks for the tips.

I also experienced the same thing. They have deleted I guess more than five of my discussion already. Those were all about money making sites, but I haven't posted the link. It's not so clear to me why they deleted those but I'm sure they got a reason behind it. I might have violated some rules. But it's ok. I need to be careful with my discussions next time.
Still, Happy Mylotting!

Yes, that's correct. The best that we can really do is to be more careful. They won't delete that for sure without any violations. It is somehow good because we are able to maintain the quality here in mylot. Good job for the admin.

I keep track of my discussions and I know one time when I had a discussion deleted by mylot. I posted a discussion about how late they updated my earnings for the day. I know it was gonna be deleted but I don't have a way to close the topic. In your case, I'm sure you violated one of the guidelines that is why mylot deleted your discussion. Happy mylotting:)

Yes. Now I realized I really violated the last "don't" in the guideline. I also keep track of my discussions like what you are doing that's why I can notice it whenever something is missing.

Really? Maybe the similarity of your topic to other mylotters is prohibited and they check it every posted discussions and response. But I never encounter any incident like that. Hope my posted discussion still follow and rules and regulations here in mylot.

I realized that my first violation is due to similarity of topic. The second one is because I violated one of the "don'ts" which states that milestones should not be discussed here. Lessons learned.
