My culture in trouble

I hate Malaysia!!! I think our government is scared becaused Malaysia has a lot of strong countries behind them, for example England.. Our army is stronger though! But I think we'll lose because we don't have enough weapons...

Now I know why Bung Karno said "Ganyang Malaysia!",, they just don't have any shame anymore.. They don't have any culture so they steal our great culture. They claim ketupat, rendang, and nasi tumpeng. Oh goshhhhh... I think Malaysia just want to make Indonesian angry,, they don't like Indonesia become peaceful. That's why they send Noordin M. Top here,, haaaa..

Do you know Malingsia's reaction in Batik Day 2 days ago? They say "hmm... we'll think about it.." WHAT? Batik is Indonesian culture!!

if we still can use peaceful means, war is not to be done. war will not solve the problem. we better try to keep good relations with all countries. we must respect one another. all things there would be a settlement, the settlement does not have a war. we take the positive side of this incident. this way the Indonesian people will realize, that we have something that must be maintained.

That's a good way to reduce the losses we will experience the event of war. War did not produce a solution to the problem of cultural pride that we have so far taken by other countries. Because in the past we did not have patents on our culture, and recently the government took action to give priority to our culture. So, we can not accuse them of stealing from our culture without a strong evidence.

why would we want war? you know if you have war then everything in your country will turn upside down, just like us for example(USA). USA used to be top of the line in economy but now everything is down hill... and who should we blame. war kill people, and spend a lot of money. If you two can solve this by put down the weapons then it would be GREAT. Hope things get better for your country

There is a saying, is easy to make war, but it is hard to stop one. Before you fire up and yell "Lets Go To War", think this is first. What will you gain from the war? I think of it many time and fine almost none. But if you ask what will you lose, then i have so many answerr.

First of all, we will lose many life. Ours Life and Their life. Our economic will be drop. We will create many enemy by invading other. If you remember how Iraq attack Quait, althought they win, they win only for a short time because after that many country become their enemy. Many country will have a reason to attack us. UNO will embargo Us.

Slowly and painfully our country will become very unstable and attacked by many front. All Rebel, the old one and the new one will sound their discontent and make a coop with the attacker. Before long, indonesia will be no more. I know this is the worst case scenario, but i still prefer diplomacy instead of bloodshet.

But it is a different stories if they attack us first. Then we can retaliate with weapon with no fear that other countries will interfere our blame us. We will have the upper hand.

I think what we should do instead of angry for other try to claim our culture. Is to make sure that we are know, love and proud about our culture. And the government should make a list of all of our culture and make a patent of all of them. After that then we could be assure that no one gonna steal our culture from us.

Well at least that what i think, off course other could have another opinion.

War must never be in an option in today's civilized society. That's brutality and barbaric. Countries in a specific region share some similarities in cultures and practices. We who are in the Malayo-polynesian families see similarities in our dances and other cultural practice. Many of which were brought by the early settlers who crossed by sea. I think that it is a heritage that we should be proud of and continue to preserve rather than fight over as to who owns the culture.
