Wearing earrings is a minus factor when applying for a job in business and medical practice. If he is in IT or artistry, no problem with that. I have artist friends who wear earrings. They may not be immature or lazy, but they sure are weird. Like you said, it is his style and he should not judged for his exterior looks. I really find it inappropriate really. Furthermore, would you be able to present a lover (who has earrings) to your parents and proudly say, "mom, dad. this is the guy whom i intend to spend my whole life with." I come from a conservative family and if i do that, my parents' eyes will definitely pop out. I am sure your parents would have a lot to say. And just as well, if you really love the guy, you will blatantly disregard their sermons. To hell with what you say, you are just judging him because of his earrings.
The discussion asked if it is appropriate, i just gave my opinion. I dislike it really when men wear earrings and i would reiterate again that i really do find it immature and lazy. | |

Well about your question, I dont like boys who are wearing any kind of earings. Actually my boyfriend has, but i dont want to force him to get rid of it. I asked him why he wants to wear earings, and he just said because of equality of both gender. Hmmm and i dont argue with him. It just earing then.
