well it's an bad habit to poke into someone's else work!

No. No. Absolutely not. I would close it for them. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. It is a personal mailbox. None of your business. Who can you trust if you can't trust your friends. More than likely, really good friends have shared practically everything between them already anyway. Why do you need to snoop? You may be ruining a really good surprise for yourself.

No way! In fact this has happened to me. My sister once forgot to logout of her gmail. When I sat with the notebook, I saw her mail box open. I just logged out and went about my business. Mails/chats/text messages are personal and we should respect that.

I will not do that in any way. Because I used to avoid even my mails.I will not read all the mails that I am receiving .I am not talking about the online site mails. Most of the mails are only forwarded mails with useless content.I don't know who is wasting their time just for funny - making the mails by spending much time to create some desings..And the others are circulating that mail to the others.Then how to open others mails and read them.Also this is not a manners. Even if find that some one failed to sign out, then I will first sign out their account.
