How many of you actually want to travel outside of your hometown to get a job? |
|
Maybe it won't be so easy to get a job you dream of, or you always wanted. Why not travel outside of your hometown, and searching out there. I knew that it would be easier if you are close to home, to your folks. But once in while, you should go out there to explore what is really belong to you. It would be like an adventure, you have to see it what is suitable for you, and what is not. I left my hometown while ago, to searching for a better job, and I think that I learn a lot from the outside world. So, how many of you actually left your hometown in searching of a better job?

1. involved62 (627) | 2 months ago | I left home when I was 16 to go to the university. After graduating, I tried to go back to my hometown but I had to return to the capital because I couldn't find a job back home. I guess living on my own far from my folks taught me a lot - to be independent, be a good judge of situations and people because I am alone and to be responsible to face the consequences of my actions and more. Besides, if I did not leave home to work elsewhere I wouldn't have met my husband. I think that was the best part of working outside my hometown.

clorissa123 (3513) | 2 months ago | To be able to learn to be independent is the key word here I think. Because without it, you won't gain the experience of your lifetime. Well, we all learn to be independent sooner or later, be prepared. Leaving your home or not, it is the part of our lives here.

clorissa123 (3513) | 2 months ago | Well, if you have a family to consider, it won't be that wise to leaving your family, and embark on an adventure on your own to somewhere you are not familiar with. Stick with your family is the wise decision for you.

Hope you must be doing well to be honest, keeping in mind current scenairo and even b4 that. some times u cant find a suitable job in ur area so u HAVE TO GO OUT OF CITY to have a Job, Infact dont have any option.
U r right, when u r out of city, u learn more as u r more exposed to differnt situation which u might not face when u r Home.
i myself work in differnt city, though its just 60Km away from my place.
Take care

clorissa123 (3513) | 2 months ago | In the states of U.S. we have to migrate to the place or cities that are too far away from where you were born. But it is part of the culture, and part of our lifestyle. People are moving away if the conditions on elsewhere is allow, and more suitable. We just need to learn to adapt.

clorissa123 (3513) | 2 months ago | It is fun to see something different right? It would be more exciting that you found something that you never know before, and you are willing to learn the brand - new culture on hand. Why not, it is part of our lives, and we should learn the different cultures.

5. madugulagopi (668) | 2 months ago | Hi Clorissa Everyone dreams to have a good job in their hometown but in India,we don't have that opportunity. Ofcourse if you live in a big city then you can find a job there itself but if you live in a small one then you need to move out of your town sometimes out of your state to get a good job. If you are in the software field then you never know where they place you. You should go because there is no option. It is a selection between job or convenience. No one chooses convenience because if you leave the job there are many waiting for that chance. It is like that and we can do nothing. Ofcourse all this is about jobs in big companies however if you are satisfied with small jobs then you can get one in home town itself.

6. dance4life (103) | 2 months ago | I live in a small town and I have ventured out of it quite a bit. It's easy to get bored because there isn't much to do here. I definitely think it's a good idea that people she not stay in the same place their whole life. It doesn't present any real qualities of what the world is like.

| 9. billzehua (75) | 2 months ago | I always want to roam around, though tough and lonely, the worth tastes no worse than a cup of long-stored wine. The different people, culture and expriences all around could turn into the words on the paper, literally, our life is going on as a book! with all the tracks we are laying being the context within it! Anyway, back to reality, so far i had one failed try, and till now still dare not to leave all the feelings behind and take the step up.

10. vingyan06 (1250) | 2 months ago | Hi Clorissa,
I don't like to travel outside my hometown to get a job. First of all, I don't want to leave my parents and my family. I know it is a good expose if we can get a stable job out of the hometown. But, definitely not for me..
I have a friend he had to leave her parents and girl friend to work abroad. After 3 years, he lost her girl friends and also could not earn much from his abroad job too.
