Saturday night my mom, sister, daughter and I went out to Bingo. There was this one where we played 3 different games on the same card. The first game was regular bingo. The second game was called a Round Robin, that's the outside circle of the card. The 3rd game was a cover all.
So we're on the Round Robin game, and my mom who's sitting across the table tells me to look at her card. She has the whole inside filled in, but she's 3 numbers away on the outside circle. If she were to get those 3 numbers she'd have the round robin and the cover all!
We both just knew that wasn't going to happen! But it did!! They called those 3 numbers and she got the bingo before anyone else! The lady comes over to read off the numbers and sees it's the cover all as well. She brought the card up front to decide what to do about it, and they decided it wouldn't be fair to call any other numbers since my mother won the cover all too. So she was awarded both prizes!
She took us out to a restaurant afterwards for appetizers and drinks!
Have you ever won at bingo? Did you ever win 2 games at once??

I have been to bingo a few times but only once since I have been an adult. And Of the ten games I played I didn't win anything but my sisters mother in law did and they have this plan where whoever wins has to split the winnings with each one in the group so while I didn't win I did go home with $12 because of my sisters in laws rules..they say that way everyone goes home with a little. And that it makes it funner..I don't know about funner but the extra money was appreciated.

Don't tell me that you were forced to go when you were growing up? I though I was the only one that had to endure it. Well, me and my sister, that is.
LOL
And here my mom probably wonders why I don't care to go to bingo as an adult!
LOL
Happy mylotting!

Our only rule is that the winner must buy Tully's for everyone else!

Hi katsmeow. Yes, I've won a couple of bingo games before. Not too bad considering I've only gone a total of 3 times. LOL One I won by myself and the other I had to split as there were 3 other winners. I never won 2 games at once though. My mom might have as she used to go to bingo pretty regularly, though I'd have to ask her to be sure. So, how much was the winnings, if you don't mind me asking?
Congrats to your mom! Happy mylotting!

It wasn't a whole lot, $50 for one game, $80 for the other. At the very least it gave her back the money she spent for her and my sister to play, and that's even after she bought the Tully's for the rest of us.

It has been years since I played bingo. I used to go with my grandmother all the time. But after she passed, there didn't seem much point. I have won before. I don't think 2 games at once. At least not that I remember. I would have enjoyed the appetizers though! LOL

I tried a new bingo chain once and won £500 on a full house which was great and plenty of times my mum has won small games or between us we have and we have a nice little bit for us to share!

My first husband and I used to go play bingo before we had my oldest son. We lives in S. Florida where the Seminole Indians have alot of different places to go and gamble and play bingo. We used to have a blast, considering we were in our early 20's. It didn't cost too much and it was pretty fun. I have been to play in probably 12-13 years because they allow smoking in their bingo halls and now that I don't smoke it really bothers me. My current husband and I actually have a mini-casino about a mile from us and we tried going there one night and it was too smoky as well. To answer your question I don't ever remember winning but I think my ex-husband won a few times.

Most states now have pretty heavy smoking laws, so you may want to look into it.. perhaps smoking is no longer allowed anymore.

Hey kats! How fun! I haven't gone to a Bingo game in years!
I think that is incredibly lucky for your Mother to have won
like that! And even better that she decided to treat you all
to dinner! I think that was a great way to have a fun "Girl's
Night Out" with all the generations too! I hope you all really
enjoyed yourselves! Can't think of a better way to enjoy an
evening out! Wish I was there!

Wow that's pretty cool! I have one at bingo one time but it wasn't very much. I think I won like $10 or something. I don't get to go very often. Our bingo at the firehall closest is on Tuesday evenings. I have kids that need bathed and in bed and not always someone to watch them. On the rare occasion that my friend is dayshift and my husband is home we try to go. Last time I was there my uncle was there and he won like $200 on these scratch cards they sell there.

I have never ever won at Bingo. When playing scratch and win games, or when going to the casino, though, I seem to be the master of breaking even. No matter how long I'm there, or how many tickets I buy, I seem to end up close to where I started money wise.
