Do also you bet on lotteries or sweepstakes?

I have never pumped my money in lotteries or such gambles. I feel that I will be the loser and I should not spend my hard earned money on gambling of buying lotteries. I have seen few of friends/colleagues getting doomed whey they got addicted to gambling and buying lotteries. I think it is a dangerous habit.

i used to.. but i never won.. just a few small bucks and could not even make up for a part of all the money i threw in there... so i stopped and ecided to keep my money instead...

I think I have bet on the lottery about 5 times in my life, all quite recently, though none last month. I did it because there was quite a large jackpot on offer once, and it seemed like a nice idea to try and win some it. The other times I did it because the funds were in the account and I could do it all online so I didn't have to worry about queuing or anything. I have never won any money from the lottery though, and so I haven't bothered again. I will probably only ever play it if there is a vast jackpot on offer, anything else would seem pointless. That and I don't want to become one of those people you mentioned who spends on the lottery when they should save money for other things. I have an addictive personality and so I could easily see that happening so I am careful of how I do things

I don't bet,and i don't ever think of doing either.We have same views and opinion,why waste money for any gamblings.
Just calculating every cents or peso being wasted everyday...a peso a day,that is still 30 pesos in a month.But most people don't just a single peso in a day but a hundred.And to think that,they even poorer than we,(i can see poor people doing it,gambling here and there)
Well,i don't think they are poor becoz they have money to waste for gambling what i mean is...instead of buying food for the less money they had,they wasted it for bet or gambling.(that is why sometimes i don't feel,helping or giving alms to street children,it is better to give them food instead of money)

Our government should stop all these.

I did buy sweepstakes before when I was in Singapore. I bought it every month,about 4 pieces and unluckily, I never strike even one piece for consolation prize.
My parents also like to buy Sweeptakes,everytime when they came to visit me in Singapore, they would buy some back home, and my father did won a small gift from sweepstakes before.

Actually the chance to strike is pretty slim as there are plenty of number being rolled,but no harm to give a try,whose know a lucky star is on my side now.

I do bet in lotteries and I spend more than 500 pesos per months just to bet on the 6-45 and 6-49 lottery draws. I maintain my own favorites number combination and who know I may be the next millionaire. It is say that you would never experience to win if you never try. For me I try to bet and try wish my luck..It is a diversion for me and not totally gambling as I have enough saving which mainly goes to family household. Thus, betting on lotteries and sweepstakes never affected my life instead it inspires. gambling becomes bad when it done in maximum terms that it becomes abuses.

I am also a Lotto player but i don't tend to play lotto every day because they're are some instances that am not feeling in the mood, most specially if the day after one of my three numbers came in to the lottery and i didn't even bet. i believe if you're gonna spent money on betting always start small. I've seen people who are lining up between five (5) to (7) in the evening, most specially if the lottery.

I remember when sweep-takes was only ten pesos, i used to buy them all the time. and then there was this instance that i got addicted with a play card promo which was the cash and car promo. i bought 500 worth of tickets and you know i got only 45% of what i spent. it was a waste.

That's why this time, am just betting only with small pennies. those who have won have actually done it out of "lucky pics" in their tickets.

You can bet on these things for years and make absolutely nothing at all.
I know people who buy lottery tickets like a religion and unless they really are lucky they are just wasting money.
Any form of gambling is a good bet to lose money.
Lady Luck has no favourites.

I do occasionally buy a lottery ticket, especially when the jackpot is large. 'All it takes is a dollar and a dream!'. I have won small here and there. Otherwise, I really don't gamble, just the lotto once in a while.

Since I turned to a legal age to buy lotteries, I have only bought less than like 5 times because I never thought I am that kind of big lucky person that will hit big in lotteries and I told myself that if I need to spend this much on those tickets, why don't I save it everytime when I want to buy so it can become some money instead of taking a risk everytime; I'm a practical person so..
