I have never heard of my lot closing down.

I have not been here for years but have been here for months and I really love this place everyone is so nice and eager to help and I enjoy helping others and voiceing my opinion or giving my ideas on topics.

I try to come in at least every day to respond to topics that I can relate or talk about.

I usually start a disscussion when I have a topic or question in mind.

I have stayed with mylot because I really like it here. You learn different things from people you help each other exchange ideas and new things.

The variety of discussions on MyLot is what keeps me coming back. While I don't find time to log in everyday, I am usually on at least once or twice a week. So far, I have not come across another forum that has such a diverse group of discussions. Whether you are in the mood to talk politics and be serious, looking for new money-making opportunities, seeking advice on a particular subject, or just want to "chew the fat" on what happened on your favorite TV show last night...there is literally something for everyone here on MyLot. This alone keeps me coming back for more!:)

I have been here for nearly a year and love it.Responding to the discussions is both enlightening and entertaining.Mylot passes the time and keeps my brain ticking over you can have a couple of good hours at a time.Maybe it is in a moment in time,years ago whilst working at a local hotel everyone got on.We went out together a few people got married,then one of us left,one had to go back to Ireland and the magic was gone.For myself have found a few sisters,a mother,a few good friends,brothers,silly uncles.You can guarantee if you come for help or advise you get it on mylot.You can have a laugh.a cry or feel sympathy all the emotions I think it is great.Thats why I am still here.

There are (and have been) many other discussion forums, but none of them are like MyLot. Almost everyone that I've encountered here has been courteous, friendly and extremely helpful. In part that is because of the effort that myLot makes to keep it that way.
Other similar sites that I've looked at have inherent problems making them a lot less attractive to be a part of. Some are difficult to understand or maneuver about, others seems to attract and encourage rudeness or are treated like bar room pickup joints. Some social sites like Boomertowne, were poorly managed financially and when bankrupt.
I've been a member here for about a year now, and I can't imagine a day without coming here. There is such a range of topics and interests, it's almost impossible to not find something to participate in. I understand what you say about being in a wrong frame of mind. Sometimes when I've been 'down', I've found discussions here to be very uplifting. Thoughts and opinions of friends from around the world have been invaluable to me, and no matter what time it is where I am, there's always plenty of friends here.

BEcause I have found so many friends on here and want to keep in contact with them even if it just thru mylot!

I know mylot is popular, but not on every internet community since I've been promoting mylot for quite some time. there are other social network sites more popular than mylot and worse of that is they aren't paying their users. I like it here, not only i tend to earn money but to learn something from other people, words of wisdom that you don't hear in your own country or people around you off-line.

I have stayed here for many reasons, but the discussion and the benefit is the main reason that kept me log-in here almost every day. it ain't bad since this is where my savings and investment on other sites are coming from. i hope mylot does become popular one day, more popular than myspace, or face book.

I feel a little trapped.hen I accept friends I feel I need to encourage them by responding to some of their discussions. I want the site to remain successful and want to help others as I have been helped.

hi zandi458 I do come here every day as mylot has become my'
port in a storm so to speak. I started here when I was forcibly retired then asked back, and furious by then,no I would stay retired,then I started to mylot and enjoyed it so much, the friendship, the sharing, the helping and the fun, it was so enjoyable for me, then the earnings became frosting on the cake. I think I am addicted to my lot.

mYLOT IS ONE OF MY VERY BEST FRIENDS. i REALLY DON'T KNOW WHAT I'D DO W/OUT IT. I just enjoy all my friends i have made on here, enjoy their discuusions & responses to my discussion.

I have stayed here in mylot for so long a time because there is something special that will draw me back when I seem to wander elsewhere. Topics may not be that persuasive but the warmth and the lesson, the joy of giving our opinion and sharing with people across the globe is just an experience that will be part of every mylot member.
